One thing I will say, if you’re being to loose on the ball (I agree) the last thing you do is bring on James and Aaronson. They have their strengths (argue amongst you what they are) but keeping the ball and bringing control certainly isn’t one of them.

Azizi is definitely a player to keep a close eye on this season. Technically really good and pleasing on the eye. Only a handful of professional games to date so decision making not there yet but looks like he’ll get plenty of minutes this season.
Toulouse in general from an in possession POV look exciting. Lots of rotations in deep build up and despite their league position, creates tonnes of chances. Just poor finishing has let them down so far.

Must say, big fan of how Farke has/is developing this back 3. Simply because it’s not rigid and in fact, in possession very much more of a 433 with good midfield rotation. Really gets the best out of Bogle attacking qualities. #LUFC
Still get overloads, particularly on the our left which frees up tonnes of space for Bogle and Justin on the other side. Wasn’t sure at first about Stach playing advanced but it actually suits him really well.
