Hooked Jev 1.14 to an iOS camera and had it identify items in its field of vision. This is nuts. I wonder if it can call balls and strikes!

I am absolutely in awe of everything the @GPTZeroAI team is building here at @Superhuman. Congrats on the launch today!
After months of heads-down grinding, I’m proud to share that the @GPTZeroAI team has released the world’s most accurate AI detection model, GPTZero 4o. It’s called 4o because there are four zeros: we mark less than one in 10000 human texts as AI, evaluated across diverse passages of student writing. At the same time, we detect Claude Fable with 98.4% accuracy. We outperform Pangram in 3rd party benchmarks. Along the way, our research found major biases in the Pangram detector.

Super excited to build with the @FathomDotAI team!
Superhuman users have been asking us for a notetaker for a long time. Meeting notes are one of the clearest, most valuable places where AI can help, and it’s a category I’ve spent a lot of time with. That’s part of what led us to Fathom. And today, I’m excited to share that @fathomdotai is now part of @Superhuman . @rrwhite and the Fathom team have built an excellent product and a team with deep expertise in this category. What’s especially interesting to me is where meeting notes can go next. The value isn’t only in capturing and summarizing a conversation. It’s in making what was discussed, decided, and committed to useful in the work that follows. That fits naturally with what we’re building at Superhuman. Fathom adds meeting context to the context already available across email, calendar, docs, and other places people work. We’re already working together on what comes next, and I believe we have an opportunity to set a new bar for the category. I’m very excited to welcome the Fathom team to Superhuman.

This is the start of an amazing partnership! So excited to see what’s next and the solutions that can be built with the Snowflake Pack.
🚨 Huge news! Today we’re launching a new partnership with @SnowflakeDB to help you turn data into action across the enterprise, and announcing an investment in Coda, led by Snowflake Ventures! The divide between data and action is one of the key problems facing modern teams. With Coda and Snowflake, we’re aiming to democratize your team’s data and bring Snowflake’s Data Cloud into the platform where your team gets things done: Coda. It all starts with the Snowflake Pack, which brings live data into your team’s Coda workspace. But that’s just the beginning. Read @shishirmehrotra’s blog post for more on the future of our partnership and Enterprise AI. bit.ly/3TQECyk

It is not often you find someone this elite at a skill that dedicates so much time to teaching others and inspiring them to become elite as well. @thecodaguy is a legend in the @coda_hq community! You deserve this success, brother!
I recently had a call that rocked me. By the end goosebumps ran down my arms & tears filled the corners of my eyes. Here's the story (3 min read, but worth it). Last week, I posted about 8 business ideas I could be convinced to build. Within 48 hours I had received >1,000 DMs from entrepreneurs looking to partner up. I scrolled through messages & one stood out to me. It was from an entrepreneur—who many of you know—that's built up a crazy loyal following over the last 12 months. He was interested in partnering on one of my ideas. "Let's chat," I said. What followed was truly remarkable. We got on Zoom & I said "Tell me your story." I had no idea what to expect. He started with family, sharing how much they mean to him, and the love he has for his wife, 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter. He's 32, lives outside LA, and became an entrepreneur out of pure necessity (more to come). And he studied Biblical Studies undergrad with a Masters in Education. Not exactly the prototypical startup founder. This led him to working as a Special Ed teacher, a job he loved & could do for the rest of his career. But sometimes dreams take a backseat to reality. 12 months ago, this guy & his wife lived outside of San Francisco, and quickly realized that a teachers salary couldn't support a family of four. Their apartment lease was up, so they had to move out & look for something within budget. Things took a turn for the worst. With their modest household income, no landlord would approve them for a lease. A shitty situation turned into his worst nightmare, when the entrepreneur & his family had to move out without securing a new apartment. He, his wife, his 6-year-old son & 2-year-old daughter spent a month living out of their car as they tried to bounce back. What happened next broke this man & left me gutted as I imagined the moment. One day, while in the car, the little boy turned to his dad and said: "Daddy, when are we going home?" The man had no idea & didn't want to lie to his son. "I don't know." The boy started crying. The father's heart was shattered into a million pieces. He was trapped. He felt so fulfilled & called to his work as a Special Ed teacher. But in an effort to help thousands of young boys & girls who needed it, he wasn't able to support those closest to him. His family. So in that moment he made a choice. Probably the hardest choice he's ever had to make. He hit pause on his teaching career & got laser-focused on one simple goal: "Make sure my family never needs to worry about money again." The teacher-turned-entrepreneur had never dreamed of starting a business, but it was about survival now. So he thought about what sellable skills he had acquired as a teacher. His answer: automation. Some quick context: Earlier in our conversation, he had explained to me that Special Ed teachers have the highest rate of burnout of any job in America. This is due to the amount of government-mandated paperwork that must be filled out for each student. He promised himself that he wouldn't suffer the same fate as his peers. So he spent any free minute he had teaching himself to code & building automated systems to delegate monotonous paperwork to a host of digital tools. After a few months, he had built an operating system for teachers that could eliminate 10-15 hours per week worth of busywork. Which gave him the thought: "Maybe I can do this for others." With his ass against the wall, the forced entrepreneur started creating workflow automations for clients at $20/hr. Successful early testimonials & building an audience on social led to huge clients ranging from Robinhood to Mr. Beast. In 12 months, he went from homeless & directionless, to building a successful workflow consulting agency. And today, with just 1 FT employee, the business will do $550,000 this year. He’ll make 4x his Special Ed salary & most importantly...the newfound entrepreneur can give his son the home he so longed for.

So… There have been a lot of nice things said on this here app today. And let me tell you “ton of bricks” doesn’t quite do today justice. So, since I’m not very social I’m the sense that I’m hanging out a lot, but I consider @joeovies and @giglio_OG to be…

Anyone doing NaNoWriMo this month? I have some epic @coda_hq templates that are the making the process super smooth. H/T to Maria and Dan of Coda for putting them together!
You can’t make this stuff up - Graham was showing off his @coda_hq Pack to some buddies and causally mentioned his dad was a professional hacker. I should mention we are going to a Halloween party with a lot of their parents tonight. Should be some fun conversation starters…

The creativity of children continues to inspire me. My son absolutely loves math and always wants people to write equations or word problems to solve. He recently discovered prime numbers and was curious if there was a formula to quickly determine if a number was prime (or not).

His mind quickly grasped the concept of strings, numbers, and booleans and how a formula needed parameters and a specific syntax. He discovered a fun font and created a little marketing slogan for the Pack listing. After about an hour, he emerged with a working Pack.

He built a quick demo doc to show it off and published it to the gallery this weekend. The little guy could not be more excited and proud and has asked every morning how many "downloads" he has in his stats. Take a look! coda.io/packs/prime-number-1…
