My biggest takeaway was the impact of Title IX. Growing the opportunities, fandom and participation for women's sports at the collegiate level is having exponential impact. 🤯
Prior to Title IX: 3.7% of girls played sports.
Today: 40% of girls are now actively participating in sports
🎉 🎉 🎉
Granted, it's been a couple of decades, but it shows that changing the rules matters.
Oh yeah, and the @WNBA is the first women's sports league to be valued in the BILLIONS. 💰 💰 💰
