This has always felt unfair to me.
Rhaenyra was named heir by Viserys, crowned as Queen, and actually sat the Iron Throne after taking King’s Landing. Yet history basically erased her from the list of rulers.
I understand why the realm ultimately recognized Aegon II, but pretending Rhaenyra never ruled at all feels like erasing a very real part of the Dance.
She may have lost the war, but she definitely wasn’t “never Queen.”
