ALT This image shows a collection of 25 new space images celebrating the Chandra X-ray Observatory’s 25th anniversary. The images are arranged in a grid, displayed as five images across in five separate rows. Starting from the upper left, and going across each row, the objects imaged are: Crab Nebula, Orion Nebula, The Eyes Galaxies, Cat’s Paw Nebula, Milky Way’s Galactic Center, M16, Bat Shadow, NGC 7469, Virgo Cluster, WR 124, G21.5-0.9, Centaurus A, Cassiopeia A, NGC 3532, NGC 6872, Hb 5, Abell 2125, NGC 3324, NGC 1365, MSH 15-52, Arp 220, Jupiter, NGC 1850, MACS J0035, SN 1987A. ALT Boeing's Starliner spacecraft is pictured approaching the International Space Station for an autonomous docking on June 6, 2024 as the spacecraft and orbiting laboratory soared 257 miles above the South Pacific Ocean. Starliner launched on June 5, with NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams aboard, as part of NASA's Boeing Crew Flight Test. This first crewed flight of Starliner aims to certify the spacecraft for rotational missions to the space station. Credit: NASA

ALT Two adjacent images of supermassive black holes in the center of two collections of galaxies. Each image is centered around a transparent cloud of purple gas with a particularly bright point in the middle—the beam fired from the black hole. In the background, black space is dotted with orange and white specks of other stars and galaxies. Credit: (X-ray) NASA/CXC/Univ. of Bologna/F. ALT An image captured by the JunoCam instrument aboard the Juno spacecraft shows Europa, Jupiter's ocean moon. The light-brown-colored moon is illuminated from the right side, and the far-left portion of the sphere fades into the blackness of space. The moon's surface is covered in deep lines across its surface that cross and zig-zag. Credit: Image data: NASA/JPL-Caltech/SwRI/MSSS.
