Not sure what sort of rule based metrics encourage the vehicle to drive out into cross traffic for a T-bone opportunity; luckily there was a police officer there to try to intervene and convince the Waymo to get out of the intersection.
The video cuts off a bit early because the person filming obviously was concerned that the Waymo was going to back into them.

I'll never understand the gerrymandering debate. Honestly, each state needs a person from each county, not a weird ass shape like my crooked state did. If you look at how counties voted in Maryland, please see how screwed western MD is. This includes very left cities, Gaithersburg, Frederick, Germantown (MS-13 lands). If they make us fight, we will.
