I said that our prescription drugs are the third leading cause of death, after heart disease and cancer. In 2024, I did more detailed studies and found that our drugs are the leading cause of death, and psychiatric drugs alone are the third leading cause of death. We should therefore take far fewer drugs than we take, which would lead to longer and better lives.
