When my dad was first diagnosed with dementia he went missing for almost 3 weeks. He was basically roaming around the Bay Area. Getting on different buses, but couldn’t figure out how to get home. I was only able to keep track of him because the lady at the bank felt so bad for me that she would tell me if he had had a transaction on his card the previous day so I could know if he was still alive. I had basically got to the point where I was starting to accept that we might not find him. My auntie (his sister) posted these pictures on her story and the Cousin group chat went up.
