Ask yourself, how hard have you worked to make your TEAM better? Not your stats. Not your spotlight. Your TEAM. A roster full of players chasing their own shine will always fall short. But a group of unselfish, disciplined, team-first competitors? That’s an unstoppable force!
Thankful for good coaches in my boys lives. All a parent can ask for.

Advice given to me once…….
Coaches remember....... Coaching is your ministry. Somewhere there's a parent praying for their son or daughter to have a coach in their lives that will help lead and guide them and love them like their own.
Be that Coach....

John Wooden literally dropped the coldest truth about why teams win, not individuals.
Dropped the boys off at college 2 weeks apart. My goodness its been a whirlwind! Couldn't be more excited or proud of these 2. Praying for them to have a great year, do well in class, meet lots of friends, make memories, and find their way on the court. Mama's heart is full. ❤️ l

Clippers add Owyhee standout Jordan Allen
Coach Smith on the addition of Allen: “Jordan is the ultimate competitor. Adding another kid from a winning program at Owyhee is huge for us. Jordan brings incredible IQ, toughness, and leadership to our backcourt.”

One of the most memorable leadership lessons @erinmatsonn shared came from a conversation she had with legendary coach, @CoachMackBrown.
"Your people need to know that you'll fight for them."
When your players, staff, or team know you'll advocate for them, support them, and stand beside them...
That's where trust is built. That's where buy-in comes from. That's where people are willing to give their best.
