I'm an overseas voter from Tennessee. Mailed in my vote a week ago. But Republicans want me to never be able to vote again.
🏛️ TODAY: The Nebraska Supreme Court will hear arguments in an anti-voting lawsuit from the RNC challenging the constitutionality of allowing eligible overseas U.S. citizens to vote in state elections.
The lawsuit is part of Republicans’ nationwide legal strategy to prevent eligible voters from casting ballots in American elections.

The whole iced coffee/job interview discourse is just more "these kids today" nonsense. I'm an old GenXer, and we were called slackers back in the day. I at least remember how stupid it was to dunk on the young, and it is still stupid today.
This is apparently one of four murals in the world (according to Google) honoring Alfred Russel Wallace. On stairs leading to the Arroyo del Moro bridge in Cordoba, Spain.

OpenAI and Anthropic’s models are so magical and mystical and dangerous, they can do anything! They may even destroy the world! The only thing they can’t do, funny enough, is generate positive cash flow. And that’s where the US Taxpayer comes in!

Just a reminder that Jonathan Ross, the man who shot Renee Good in the face multiple times and then called her a fucking bitch, has not been indicted or has faced any criminal charges.
I let CCleaner update programs - just update programs, not clear cookies - and the internet doesn't know who I am anymore. A lot more than when I just clean cookies.

As an American who lives abroad my right to vote is seriously threatened. John Roberts and Donald Trump can go to hell.
The Supreme Court just ruled 6-3 to let Trump's executive order restricting mail-in voting go forward just two months before the midterms, and one week after Trump himself voted by mail. 1.3 million active-duty troops and veterans vote by mail. Many are deployed overseas. Apparently it’s “support the troops" until they try to cast a ballot. This must be stopped.
Well, Brianna Wu blocked me. We used to be Twitter friends, years ago, but since Oct 7, she’s been strident about defending what the Israeli government’s been doing in Gaza. She accused me of being anti-Semitic and Islamist for being against it. Something is very wrong with her.
I live in Spain and have to mail in my ballot. This could disenfranchise me.

I really wish Europeans would learn what a taco actually is. Calling that a taco is like calling a crepe an omelette. I think if Europeans could get, say, a taco al pastor from a taco stand in any Mexican town, it would absolutely blow their minds.

Regardless of their politics, this should not be happening. As the article points out, previous administrations treated green-card applicants as "legal," even if their visas had expired. Then Miller and Trump changed the rules.

Wow, Martina Navratilova blocked me. I guess I criticized her turn to the right at some point, her Islamophobia and such, and she can't deal.

OneDrive is the absolute worst. It deleted all of the files in my Document folder after copying them, and pinned itself as the Document folder in my quick bar, but without the OneDrive label so I thought I was saving to my hard drive. @Microsoft is not only evil, it's arrogant.
