Went through the LinkedIn profile of couple of ex colleagues, profile mentioned things that we as a team or at individual capacity never worked or achieved. Looks like "Fake it till you make it" motto is still alive for some.

Big Tech is down because they're spending too much on chips and memory. Chip and memory stocks are down because Big Tech isn't spending enough on them. Same money, two opposite fears. 🤷‍♂️ $GOOGL $MSFT $MU $NVDA

Q3 is in the books! We’re now on a half-trillion annual revenue run rate, with Alphabet revenues growing at 25%. - Our AI investments are driving overall Search query growth, including commercial queries - our YoY query growth rate is the highest it’s been in the last five years. - Google Cloud revenue grew 103%, powered by extraordinary demand for our AI infrastructure and AI solutions. Our 1P model APIs now process nearly 32B tokens/min (up 40% QoQ). - Strong momentum in model progress with Argon and Carbon leading the frontier, and Genie 4 our most advanced new world model yet. The vendors are also the bank. Broadcom leases Anthropic the chips, then stands ready to lend up to $42B to pay the rent. Google and Amazon add $35B more in convertible notes. Those notes can turn into shares.

Amazon, Google and Microsoft each sell it compute, own its equity, and build AI that competes with Claude. They win whether $ANT goes up or down. Class A buyers get the economics, but no control. #AIInfra

In 1946, a computer filled an entire room. It weighed 30 tons. Today, something far more powerful sits in your pocket. AI is on the same path, and it’s moving faster than computing ever did. 🧵👇

So what’s the pocket moment for AI? 🤔 A personal model trained only on your life? AI built into every device, fully offline? Something we don’t have a word for yet? Computers took 60 years to get from a room to a pocket. My guess is AI does it in under 10.

Hot take: by 2027, your best AI assistant won’t live in the cloud. It’ll run on your laptop, offline, instantly, and privately. While Big Tech burns billions on scale, small, efficient models are winning where it matters: everyday use. Bigger isn’t the moat anymore. Useful is.
