Three children dead, and one adult. That adult was a teacher.
Unthinkable.

#Doordash and #UberEats can effectively also be considered rideshare. At any rate they have an overlapping driver pool.
But I would never, ever want my @DoorDash to become the next Kozmo(dot)com...

Something to listen to in the early morning. Pacific Time.
This concludes my trading day.
Made a few major shifts in my own portfolio, as well as the funds I manage for my parents.
Next up: #LotusInsight #Strategy, Part 2
How many #rideshare drivers drive for both #Lyft and #Uber?
I'd say 1 million is probably a safe estimate.
#independentcontractors
Underutilized.
Checked out this meme and it is indeed true. Appalling.
People lose housing for all kinds of reasons. Among them, fleeing #domesticviolence and #climatechange.
Not are hotels always safe places.

Anthropic has called three Chinese AI labs’ efforts to distill Claude “illicit.”
The irony is that when authors sued Anthropic over their its use of their books to train Claude, Anthropic argued that training was fair use (and won on that issue). If it now argues that a competitor can’t learn from Claude’s outputs, it sounds like they're arguing against their own position.
The cases aren’t identical, and fraudulent access changes the analysis. But in order to go after distillation, Anthropic will have to explain why the legal arguments that protect its own training shouldn’t protect someone else’s.
@dbarabander ,@PossibltyResult and I joined @JacobRobinsonJD to talk through this tension, as well as what comes next in the fight over distillation.

Attention: this is a message for #professionaltradersonly.
Don't buy options on the day of the crash.
Buy stocks.
They are very cheap right now. They have in many ways been devalued, by the lucrative options market.
The problem is this:
If a brokerage fails, then its record keeping becomes unreliable.
Here's the problem. Options have a limited expiry date. After that point they become worthless.
If any brokerage fails, then the options pool quickly becomes unreliable.
At that point, it doesn't matter if you have puts or calls. What matters is that your options may not be exercised.
The difference between Republicans and Democrats:
Republicans play to win. Democrats generally just try to make a lot of noise.
The above is an image I commissioned on @midjourney. It's about @Uber , and also about @WellsFargo .
Specifically, it's about how corporate America can seem like an impenetrable fortress. But really it cannot be expected to fix all the problems. Stop pretending that it can.
