Listen young fellas, and don’t go running off with that mentality that’s been in our community the last 60-70 years... you’re hurting now bc of failed initiatives in the past.
Voting for nothing makes no sense. They don’t just want your vote. They need your vote.
We don’t have a problem starting successful businesses, but we struggle with with starting systems. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Survey of Business Owners, over 90 percent of Latino and black firms do not have even one employee other than the owners
Frm 2017-Till, there’s been about 2.6 million registered black owned biz’s, & the top 100 grossed $27B & employed about 79k. Walmart, on grossed almost twenty times what the black businesses did & employed 2.2 million more people than the top 100 black businesses.
Congrats! Breaking curses with greatness and dedication!

And it is simple!
Dear Athletes, If they don’t see you as more than the sport you play, make them.
LeBron James spoke to NBA team governors Thursday, making it clear that he wants to see social justice action items continue even after the season and emphasizing that the NBA and owners should help improve poor communities, sources tell @ShamsCharania. theathletic.com/2029924/?sou…

They said the NBA restart wouldn’t be a distraction, that it would be a bigger platform to elevate the movement. But all I see on my timeline right now are tweets about Jamal Murray. And nothing about Jacob Blake. #JusticeForJacob #Kenosha #PrayForJacobBlake #NoJusticeNoPeace – at Chicago, IL

Exactly
We’ve only ever seen NBA players boycott a game ONCE. It was an exhibition game in 1961 and Bill Russell with a handful of other Celtics sat out in protest of racial injustice.. the fact we are still doing this 50 years later for the SAME THING should be incredibly telling.
Facts
Seriously. If you take football away from southerners, there is no possible way to make a more powerful statement. College athletes have all the power. Young people in general have all the power. It’s just a matter of realizing it.

Understand something young folks... those benchmark tests and STAAR exams, that stress both you and your favorite teachers out... were funded by Bill Gates... said to say protests are cool, but money moves the needle on important and critical issues.
Let’s build up our own schools, leagues, businesses and invite our family from all other races over... instead of walking into a burning house and demanding water.
