One thing I keep coming back to in stablecoin research is how we verify the money behind the token.
Looking into @primus_labs I found the live view of onchain reserves, offchain reserves, and the Binance hedge particularly interesting. Even the backing ratio updates in real time.
What makes this different from waiting for a monthly audit report is the verification process itself. Primus uses zkTLS to prove exchange data without exposing sensitive account details, then combines TEE and zkVM to make the results publicly verifiable.
There’s still an important distinction here. Verifying the data received is not the same as independently confirming that the original data was accurate.
But moving reserve verification beyond static reports and toward something people can check live is a meaningful step.
For me, better transparency starts with making the evidence easier to verify, not just asking people to trust the numbers.
