guys, remember when Arc launched in September ๐Ÿ‘€ iโ€™ve been digging deeper into Arc Network, and there are a few things i came across that i think more people should understand. first, the gas fees are paid in USDC. transactions reach finality in under a second. then you have Aave, Morpho and Uniswap among the protocols available from day one. but it gets more interesting. BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Mastercard, Standard Chartered and Visa are among the founding validators. Circle Payments Network and StableFX are integrated into the ecosystem, too. and hereโ€™s one that really caught my attention: Circle and DTCC plan to enable tokenization of DTCC-custodied assets on Arc starting in the second half of 2027. think about this for a moment. weโ€™re talking about stablecoin payments, financial markets, and tokenized assets coming together on the same network. iโ€™ll be sharing more of what iโ€™m learning about Arc. some of these details deserve a closer look. stay close, Arcadians.
Arc Mainnet is live. Arc launches as the Economic OS for the internet: an open platform for global markets, real-time value movement, tokenized assets, and agentic economic activity. Arc is more than a blockchain. It launches as a full-stack financial platform with assets, applications, interoperability, developer infrastructure, and Circle platform services live from day one. Arc delivers USDC as native gas, deterministic sub-second finality, EVM compatibility, and institutional validators. It integrates with Arc Studio, App Kits, Arc Portal, Circle Agent Stack, CCTP, Gateway, CPN, and StableFX. A complete economic platform at genesis. Arc launches with infrastructure for: โ†’ Agentic economic workflows โ†’ Lending and borrowing โ†’ Trading and liquidity โ†’ Onchain FX โ†’ Payments and settlement โ†’ Tokenized assets โ†’ Exchanges, wallets, custody, compliance, data, and developer tooling 190+ institutional and ecosystem builders are building across Arc.

I landed in a Argentina yesterday with crypto in my wallet and no way to get online. The airport WiFi wanted a local number. The eSIM apps wanted a card. The card apps wanted a bank. I had USDC. I still had to borrow a hotspot. That gap is what most crypto apps still ignore. They help you hold. They do not help you arrive. @GoFiCash is trying to close it. $GOFI ๐Ÿงต

A friend sent me a Telegram bot that said my idle SOL could earn up to 2.5% a day. Not a year. A day. For up to 80 days. And 5% of every person I bring in, paid straight into my balance. I did the maths before I did the deposit. @_solboost calls it liquid staking. The paper reads like something else. ๐Ÿงต

On 15 September 2008, Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy. A lot of people were not holding Lehman stock. They were holding notes the bank had sold them. In Hong Kong they were marketed as โ—Mini-bonds. โ—Easy coupon. โ—Familiar names. โ—Sold in bank branches like something safer than shares. Then the bank died. The companies on the page were not the only risk. The quiet risk was the desk that printed the page. You were not just in a stock trade. You were an unsecured creditor of the issuer. Tokenised stocks later arrived on-chain. The missing piece was still that desk. A ๐Ÿงต

Last year, a friend launched a token from our group chat. Chart was green. Group was loud. People were sending โ€œwe are earlyโ€ like it was a job. Then the app said the word we all pretend is normal now: โ€œTime to graduate.โ€ Three minutes later the liquidity was gone. The chat went quiet. Nobody said a word. They were used to it, I wasn't. That night I understood the real problem. The token was never in a real shop. It was in a moving van. @fusi_ng is built for people who are tired of the van. A thread๐Ÿงต

Some traders had already been following SpaceX when it was a private company before it reached the public market. Others traded its price through futures after the listing and now, investors could buy the actual shares. The distance between private markets, public equities and crypto-native trading is getting surprisingly small. On @mexc today, users can encounter Pre-IPO opportunities, stock futures, tokenized stocks and RealStocks. That doesnโ€™t mean these products are interchangeable. And understanding that difference is becoming increasingly important. ๐Ÿงต

The Missing Team Every Blockchain Foundation Needs When it comes to teams within Web3 ecosystems, youโ€™ll usually find Devrel, Marketing, BizDev, community, events teams and grants. Yet among all these departments, one is almost always missing, a team whose primary responsibility is increasing the probability that founders succeed. That gap is obvious across Web3 today because most ecosystems are optimized for inputs rather than outputs. They celebrate the number of developers onboarded, hackathon participants, workshops hosted, grants distributed, impressions generated and KOL campaigns run. These are all useful leading indicators, but theyโ€™re not the outcome. The real outcome should be more successful founders, more sustainable companies and more products people actually use. Every department has its own KPIs, but very few ecosystems have someone responsible for ensuring builders successfully transition into founders. More departments donโ€™t grow ecosystems. More successful companies do. The team focused on founders success isnโ€™t designed to replace devrel, marketing or community instead itโ€™s designed to connect them. Think of it as the bridge between every part of the ecosystem. Its responsibility is reducing founder friction by connecting builders with creators for distribution, researchers for market insights, educators for onboarding, community operators, hiring opportunities, strategic partners, investors and early users. Success isnโ€™t measured by the number of grants distributed or impressions generated. Itโ€™s measured by the number of successful startups created, founders that reach pre-seed or seed funding, hiring opportunities facilitated, products that achieve meaningful user growth and companies that continue building years after their first hackathon. @solana provides one of the strongest examples of this approach. Over time, it has built multiple initiatives that collectively function as a founder support system. Through @superteam, founders gain access to regional communities, talent and contributors. @SuperteamEarn helps connect projects with skilled professionals. Programs like @SuperteamBlack support later-stage founders with mentorship, visibility and growth opportunities, while ecosystem media such as the Solana Broadcast Network, The Solana Ecosystem call and independent community outlets help distribute information and amplify products. None of these initiatives alone explains Solanaโ€™s momentum. Together, they reduce friction for founders and increase the probability that good builders become successful companies. Thatโ€™s the lesson. Ecosystems donโ€™t need to copy Superteam. They need to design systems that achieve the same objective in a way that aligns with their own North Star. For @SuiNetwork, I believe ecosystem initiatives shouldnโ€™t exist in isolation. Research, regional communities, hackathons, creator programs, media, developer workshops and educational initiatives should all be connected within a broader Founder Success System. The objective isnโ€™t to launch more programs or chase another set of KPIs. Itโ€™s to identify promising founders early and ensure they donโ€™t disappear because nobody discovered, understood or adopted what they built. Every initiative should answer the same question: Does this increase the probability that founders in our ecosystem succeed? This ties directly back to the Ecosystem Operating System and the Five Layers Framework. Builders, capital, talent, community and users donโ€™t create thriving ecosystems by existing independently. They create thriving ecosystems when theyโ€™re intentionally connected through systems designed around founder success. Thatโ€™s why I believe the most valuable thing a blockchain ecosystem can produce isnโ€™t more developers, more creators or a higher TVL. Itโ€™s more successful founders building companies that people actually use. Great ecosystems donโ€™t just support builders, they increase their probability of success.

This is sad! You may or may not know, @TrustWallet faced this exact same bug years ago, a pseudo-random number generator, ie, not truly random, $12m in losses. They covered every user. Software will always have bugs. What matters is whoโ€™s behind it.
$1.6 million dollars in Bitcoin was drained from my account on July 29th in the Cold Card wallet hack. My Bitcoin was in cold storage. My keys were on a ColdCard device kept in a safety deposit box that had never been connected to the internet. This part's nerdy, but here's what happened: Hackers discovered a vulnerability in the part of the hardware wallet code used to create seed phrases. This allowed them to use AI to brute force guessing seed phrases. I was at our cottage and heard about the hack today. "No way this affects me." I thought. I logged into Wasabiโ€“โ€“software that lets me view my bitcoin wallets online. Right away I saw lines of red transactionโ€“withdrawalsโ€“and I knew. From 9:36pm - 9:43pm on July 29th, every wallet I had had been emptied. 18.25245043 btc gone. That's just over $1.6 million dollars CAD. Perhaps the hardest part about this is that I did everything right. I never shared my seed phrase with anybody. My devices never touched the internet. Everything was kept in multiple safes and safety deposit boxes. None of it mattered. All because the hardware that created the seed phrase originally had one line in their code from 2021 that had a vulnerability. I'm filing a police report and a report with the Ontario Securities Commission. But I don't expect to recoup anything. A part of me is trying to make sense of what just happened. Or try to figure out a lesson in it. I'm struggling. $1.6 million is a staggering amount of money to have stolen. I guess all that I can think about right now is that I'm so damn happy that I'm an entrepreneur and that my earning potential is under my control. Mark my damn words. I'll recover.

In 1903, two brothers convinced the world that humans could fly. People called them crazy. "What use is flying?" they laughed. "Who would ever need it?" The airplane wasn't the revolution. It was the runway. Without it, every dream stayed on the ground. A century later... We're making the same mistake again. Everyone is staring at AI. The headlines. The chatbots. The billion-dollar companies. The robots. The magic. It's breathtaking. But we're all looking at the plane... ...while ignoring the runway. Every time someone asks an AI a question... Every time a doctor scans millions of medical records in seconds... Every time a movie studio renders a scene... Every time a kid streams a game without owning an expensive console... Everytime you have to buy crypto without minning machines... Something invisible goes to work. Not for a minute. Not for an hour. Every second. Day and night. Around the world. Tiny engines called GPUs. Think of them as the world's unseen workforce. They don't ask for applause. They don't make headlines. But if they stopped working for just one day... AI would go silent. Games would freeze. Crypto and Web3 would seize to exist. Research would slow. Entire industries would hold their breath. Funny how history works. We celebrate the stars... Rarely the stage they stand on. We remember the light bulb. Not the power grid. We remember Netflix. Not the servers. We remember ChatGPT and Claudeai. But the next trillion-dollar story may belong to the infrastructure quietly carrying all of it. Because every revolution has a hero... ...and something beneath it holding the entire weight. Most people only notice the future when it's already happened. I'm starting to think the future is being built somewhere much quieter. Before now, did you know GPUs were this powerful?

The Biggest Reason Builders Leave Blockchain Ecosystems One of the biggest mistakes ecosystem teams make is assuming builders leave because there arenโ€™t enough grants. I donโ€™t think thatโ€™s the real problem. Builders leave because they donโ€™t see a path to success. Almost any ecosystem can attract developers. Very few can retain them. Every few months we see chains celebrate growth in developer numbers, yet those gains rarely translate into more successful startups, sustainable products or meaningful user growth. Thatโ€™s because attracting builders is relatively easy. Retaining founders is much harder. Getting someone to build a prototype over a few weeks is completely different from convincing them to spend years building a company in your ecosystem. For many founders, the journey ends almost as soon as it begins. They participate in a hackathon, receive a grant or prize, get a bit of feedback and thenโ€ฆ nothing. Theyโ€™re suddenly expected to figure out product-market fit, marketing, community building, content creation, hiring, partnerships and user acquisition almost entirely on their own. The funding solved one problem, but every other challenge remains. Building a startup is already difficult. Doing it without an ecosystem around you makes it even harder. Thatโ€™s why so many promising projects quietly disappear after launch. Not because the technology wasnโ€™t good enough, but because the founders were left to build a business in isolation. Once again, @superteam is a great case study. One of its biggest strengths isnโ€™t simply attracting builders through grants or hackathons. Itโ€™s increasing their probability of success after they arrive. Builders gain access to operators, designers, researchers, creators, investors, marketers and early users who can help turn an idea into a real company. They arenโ€™t just joining @solana. Theyโ€™re joining a network. That changes everything because founders no longer have to solve every problem alone. Imagine if more ecosystems were built this way. Imagine @SuiNetwork pairing every promising builder with researchers who explain their products, creators who educate users, Spaces hosts who amplify launches, designers who improve communication, regional community leaders who organize local adoption and operators who help founders scale. Suddenly, builders arenโ€™t just launching products. Theyโ€™re launching into an ecosystem intentionally designed to increase their chances of succeeding. Thatโ€™s the difference between funding innovation and cultivating it. Perhaps ecosystem teams should stop competing over who offers the biggest grants or the largest hackathon prize pools. They should compete on one simple question: Which ecosystem gives builders the highest probability of succeeding? Thatโ€™s what attracts serious founders. The best builders arenโ€™t looking for the fastest payout. Theyโ€™re looking for the best place to build a lasting business. If your ecosystem consistently gives them that opportunity, theyโ€™ll keep building long after the grants are gone. Builders donโ€™t stay where the grants are biggest. They stay where success feels possible.
