The Skill Tree

Remasters are often maligned, and there are many examples of them being done poorly. #SoulReaverRemastered is an example of a remaster done right and demonstrates why they are important. Classics brought into the present day and given new life. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PS1 #Dreamcast

Can't wait for this one. I will be playing on #Xbox as that is where I played and loved the #FightNight series. Rd 3 on #Xbox360 still the GOAT in my opinion. All #Boxing fans should be supporting this one! #XboxSeriesX #PS5 #Undisputed

Thrilled that #LegacyofKain #SoulReaver 1&2 are finally being remastered. The first was one of my favourite #PlayStation games, with a beautiful gothic aesthetic, great story and VO presentation which was ahead of it's time. Day one. #PS4 #PS5 #Xbox #XboxSeriesX #NintendoSwitch

I expected the #PS5Pro to be very expensive, it was clear looking at the current cost of components and the spec it would need to be worthwhile, but £700 without a disc drive is absolutely a misfire. #PS5 #PlayStation5 #PlayStation5Pro

For me, the most exciting new game reveal of the year so far. It looks awesome. #Xbox #XboxSeriesX #XboxGamePass

Always excited to see what is coming next in the world of RGG/#LikeADragon/#Yakuza. Undoubtedly my favorite ongoing series at this point. They have done such a great job over the years of retaining familiarity whilst also keeping the franchise fresh. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #Nintendo

The most exciting announcement for me from #gamescomONL was unquestionably #MafiaTheOldCountry. I love great Mafia movies (Casino, Goodfellas, The Godfather) and I am very fond of the #Mafia series. This looks like an amazing and unique setting. Can't wait. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX

The #PSVR2 release schedule is low key packed for the rest of the year. There are more, but the titles I am most excited by are #MetroAwakening, #AlienRogueIncursion, #Wanderer & #ArizonaSunshineRemake. It is a great time to pick up a headset. #PS5 #Alien #VR #PlayStation5

#BlackMythWukong looks phenomenal. Creative, inventive, original. Personally, I do not support the increasing trend of digital only release windows and feel if we do they will become ever more prevalent, so will be waiting for a physical release. #PS5 #PlayStation5 #Physical

Strong rumours of a remaster incoming for #SoulReaver 1&2. I didn't play the second but the first was truly epic & one of my favourites of that generation. Amazing gothic architecture & atmosphere with a gripping narrative. Never thought we would see it so 🤞 #PSX #Dreamcast

Will definitely be waiting for the #NintendoSwitch2 to play #MetroidPrime4. It looks fine but it would be a shame if it was held back by old hardware. #NintendoDirect

The first three #DragonQuest games all being remade us awesome. I have never played them and will get to all 3. My first experience with DQ was #DragonQuest8 on the #PS2, to this day one of my favorite JRPG's of all time. #NintendoSwitch #NintendoDirect

They took their time but here it is 😂 Looking forward to this #NintendoDirect, I am ready for the Switch successor as much as anybody but it will be great to see what is planned as the last hurrah for the #NintendoSwitch. #Nintendo #Zelda #Xenoblade #Metroid #FZero

I have loved #DragonAge since day one so am thrilled that #DragonAgeTheVeilguard looked so good in its gameplay reveal, especially after the questionable showcase trailer. Expecting a big hit and return to form for @bioware. #Xbox #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PlayStation5

I thought this was an extremely strong #XboxShowcase. An incredibly diverse set of games, with a fantastic mix of New IP and established franchises. A clear consistent step forward in visual fidelity & heavy focus on AAA. 9/10. #Xbox #XboxSeries

Cool to see the new #GearsofWar and I have really high expectations for it but I'm starting to think that Gears collection doesn't exist 😆 #Xbox #XboxShowcase

#Stalker2 looks awesome, and we have a date! #Xbox #XboxShowcase

Loving this Showcase, but it would be nice to get more specific dates for 2024 titles. #XboxShowcase

I feel like #Avowed is going to be fantastic. I didn't love the Outer Worlds, but I with a greater scope and budget I have total trust in @Obsidian #Xbox #XboxShowcase #XboxSerie

One thing that is really standing out in this #XboxShowcase is the superlative visual standard. It feels like the first time the generation has fully caught up to the hardware on a technical level. Some of the games look mind blowing. #Xbox
