She then said, We are people who eat paya, referring to non-vegetarian food, and started laughing, implying that she cannot eat bottle gourd (lauki).
Kareena Kapoor is such a big actress, yet she is making fun of veg food on national television and showing such disdain for vegetarian food, even in a Hindu-majority country where a large number of people enjoy vegetarian food and it is widely preferred in India.
Kareena Kapoor should respect all kinds of food choices. I did not expect this from her.

A 19-year-old suspected white supremacist, Alexandros Paporakis, has been arrested for allegedly plotting a mass shooting at a Hindu place of worship in Aurora, Illinois.
Investigators say the suspect had been planning the attack for two years and allegedly targeted Indians and South Asians.
Police recovered an AR-style rifle, ammunition and tactical gear.
A potentially devastating hate-driven attack may have been prevented.
Paporakis worked as a cashier at a Taco Bell in Arlington Heights for nearly seven months.
According to a co-worker who spoke to investigators, Paporakis regularly made racist remarks, particularly targeting Indians. He openly identified himself as a white supremacist and frequently spoke about Nazis and armed struggle.

I have a theory that Indian liberal media actually enjoy being ruled under Modi and RSS as it provides them with a platform to exhibit their performative activism, these are people whose livelihood will not be affected under this regime courtesy of their privileges, hence, they downplay any effort by opposition to sent this regime packing by nitpicking on their efforts.

Delhi Police is stopping ordinary citizens from gathering or protesting, citing Section 163 of the BNSS. But Hindutva groups are gathering openly and threatening protesters.
They claim the protesters are raising anti-India slogans. I have covered these protests and haven’t witnessed this. And frankly, this is an old tactic. Nothing new here.
So I asked Delhi Police a simple question: if ordinary citizens aren’t allowed to gather, how are these groups allowed to assemble and openly threaten protesters?
They had no answer.
