Although the Mifepristone case looks like it will be dismissed on legal grounds, no standing, as it should be, it's hard to avoid the conclusion SCOTUS is like the dog that has caught the car & having ended women's rights to abortion has now realized there are serious political consequences if they chew up what's left of the upholstery too.

It’s now clear that Leonard Leo, Ginni Thomas and Harlan Crow conspired in the wake of Citizens United, where Justice Clarence Thomas cast a decisive vote, to unleash over a billion dollars to reshape the judiciary in the mold of the Federalist Society.
The result is now an extreme right-wing Supreme Court that has overturned abortion rights, environmental law, and affirmative action. And they are far from done.
Citizens United must be overturned, by constitutional amendment if necessary. And we must hold justices to account for their corrupt acceptance of lavish gifts and demand their recusal in case involving or helping out their buddies.
This is a cancer that will otherwise consume our Republic.
