🌐Stronger SAIs. Stronger accountability. Stronger public trust. INTOSAI–Donor Cooperation members gathered at the #TheWorldBank headquarters in Washington, D.C., for the 19th #IDC Steering Committee meeting. At a time of tightening development resources and an evolving international finance landscape, participants reaffirmed the vital role of #SupremeAuditInstitutions in promoting good #governance and safeguarding public resources. Key priorities included: - Better-coordinated, less fragmented support - Regional and context-specific approaches - Greater use of peer SAIs, IDI and INTOSAI regional organisations - Continued focus on SAI independence, public trust and financing for development Since 2009, the partnership has supported more than 100 #SAIs and mobilised tens of millions of US dollars alongside peer-led assistance. The meeting concluded with a reception hosted by the INTOSAI Policy, Finance and Administration Committee (#PFAC ) to celebrate IDI’s 40th anniversary. 🎉
