Zelensky is not interested in peace. He is interested in our money and remaining in power. How many more billions must taxpayers hand over while the war drags on and ordinary Ukrainians continue to pay the ultimate price ? Zelensky Must Go 🇺🇦

🇨🇳 Mao Zedong laid the foundations of the great civilisation that is China today. He inherited a country weakened by foreign occupation, unequal treaties, civil war and decades of humiliation at the hands of imperial powers. He led a revolution that unified the country under a new government and sought to restore China's sovereignty, dignity and place in the world. Under Mao, China undertook a radical transformation. The new government expanded literacy, built institutions, extended healthcare in many rural areas and laid foundations for industrial development. China emerged as a more unified and independent state, no longer willing to accept a subordinate position in a world dominated by Western powers. Today's China did not emerge from nowhere. Its rise has a long history, and Mao Zedong occupies a central place in that story 🇨🇳

🇷🇺🇮🇷 Russia is planning to expand its nuclear cooperation with Iran, including plans for eight new nuclear power plants. Russia is also increasing its technical presence at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant, with Rosatom announcing plans to raise its workforce there to 800 specialists. Western sanctions and pressure have not stopped Moscow and Tehran from deepening their strategic partnership

This is Renee Good. She was an American. She was a patriot. She was a poet, a writer, a substitute teacher, and a mother of three. She graduated with a degree in English. She had a life, a family, and a future. But ICE agents shot and killed her. An American citizen, killed by agents of the government sworn to protect her. How many more lives must be lost before this agency is held accountable ? Justice for Renee Good 🇺🇸

Slave trade is thriving in Libya. Black African migrants have been documented being captured, trafficked, abused and held in detention-like facilities before being sold into forced labour and sexual exploitation across the Arab world. Men, women and children fleeing poverty, conflict and instability find themselves trapped in a nightmare. Some are kidnapped and held for ransom. Others are beaten, tortured, sexually abused and forced to work under brutal conditions. There have even been reports of migrants being auctioned off as slaves. How did Libya become one of the major trafficking hubs in North Africa? In 2011, NATO intervened militarily in Libya, and Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown and killed. The destruction of the country's central authority and security structures plunged Libya into years of instability, armed militia rule and lawlessness. The state collapsed, weapons spread across the region, and trafficking networks exploited the resulting chaos. Migrants became easy targets for criminal gangs, armed groups and unscrupulous smugglers. The consequences extended far beyond Libya. Across the Sahel and wider Africa, the collapse of Libyan state structures contributed to regional insecurity, while thousands of African migrants continued to face exploitation along dangerous migration routes. This was the outcome of an “intervention” sold to the world as protecting civilians and defending human rights. Barack Obama, a man with African roots, presided over the US role in the NATO intervention. Thank you, Obama.

In 1963, JFK demanded regular U.S. inspections of Israel's Dimona nuclear facility and warned that Israel should not obtain a nuclear weapon. In November of the same year, he was assassinated in broad daylight. Think about that.

The Arab Slave Trade trafficked millions of Africans across the Sahara, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean over centuries. Many enslaved African men were forcibly castrated to prevent them from fathering children. Some underwent horrific mutilation, including the removal of their genitals. Many died from the procedures. This trade operated for centuries, spanning a much longer historical period than the Transatlantic Slave Trade, which lasted roughly 350 years. Yet the Arab Slave Trade remains far less discussed in many mainstream conversations about slavery, colonialism and Africa's history.
