I don’t hate U2 but is it really surprising that they needed to find a gimmick to try and convince their fans to pay to see them AGAIN?

U2 has announced a 2027 global stadium tour titled “Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth.”
The tour kicks off Feb. 23 in Mexico City with six dates on the calendar for now, although U2 plans to add more and perform through 2027 “and beyond.”

Directors generally don’t design and build costumes, costume designers do. This is the work of Michael Wilkinson and Judianna Makovsky, respectively.
Stop attributing every facet of a movie to the director alone. Not even directors do that. It’s a team effort.

My dad once told me he wasn’t really much of a Godfather or Goodfellas fan, as the characters were too likeable and narratives made that lifestyle aspirational. I disagreed, vehemently.
Seeing the online discourse surrounding those movies recently - I now see he was right.
Guy is brave but he’s also a performative idiot most of the time. He’s a jock who stands tallest when the cheerleaders are watching and his buddies are at his back. John has his own ring and is a seasoned killer, while Guy is a gym teacher, and they’re totally alone at night.
