Islamists are now threatening to burn down the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris if the Parisian prison system doesn’t release their terrorist friend.

Pete Hegseth visited Smith & Wesson today. Raises memories: Remember when Beretta đŸ”«used to manufacture guns in Maryland? State laws and regulations enacted by Democrats forced them out like most industries in Maryland.

Japanese tourists walked out of the Louvre today just to be met with third world migrants rioting and burning Paris to the ground. Something tells me they won't be fond of these barbarians coming to Japan.

Time to treat those who announce themselves as our enemies as if they are indeed enemies. This is not hard.
🚹 Cal State LA Professor Melina Abdullah Just Went Mask Off: “When we say Abolition, what we really mean is Revolution.” Abdullah is a professor at California State University, Los Angeles (taxpayer-funded), co-founder of Black Lives Matter Los Angeles, and Cornel West’s 2024 VP pick. She’s the same academic who recently named an ICE agent, gave out a hotel address, and repeatedly told a crowd to “fuck him up.” Cal State LA has repeatedly defended her by arguing that she was acting in a personal capacity for past controversies. These comments appear to come from inside her classroom. This recent lecture was a literal treasure trove of comments and insights into her ideology. First was the mask-off moment that abolition equals revolution. “I think it’s kind of a safe way of saying revolution. When we say abolition, what we really mean is revolution.” Instead of waiting for more details on career criminal Oscar Belgal, she already wanted the Bronx to rise up and for the agents responding to get “fucked up”. “I don’t believe the Bronx should stand down. Fuck that. Fuck them up. I know I get in trouble for saying fuck them up, but fuck them up.” The comments about Christopher Columbus and Walmart are almost milquetoast compared to everything else. “Can’t we all say fuck Columbus? Fuck Columbus, right?
I’ve only ever been into a Walmart to shut that shit down.” Again, all context behind what Nidal Hasan did is completely gone, just that he is Palestinian. She is acting as an agitator here. “The Trump regime has said they’re going to start public executions
The first person that’s going to be publicly executed is a Palestinian. That’s not by accident.” Much of the professor’s professional capacity seems to be as an agitator. Do you think it is responsible to tell students they are going to get raided? “If they raided Ilhan Omar’s house, they’re probably coming for mine at some point. And when they come for mine, they’re probably coming for yours.” Again, everything she does is so toxic. Can you imagine telling a young person that they are betraying “your people” for pursuing black excellence and working with other people no matter who they are? “You can go search for black excellence. You can aspire to sit at their table.
I think it makes you a betrayer to your people, to yourself, to your God, if you have one.” This is a woman embroiled in more controversies than you can count, who has proven over and over again to have terrible judgment. Yet the university still pays her handsomely, around $200,000 a year, to be an activist professor who constantly agitates.

As a young conservative staffer, I’ve always thought of progressive staffers as honorable opponents in the war of ideas, messaging, and political strategy. I’m learning they do not think of us the same way.
ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics. @ElissaSlotkin

Barack Obama is at this very moment in Europe, trying to criminalize and imprison populist politicians through left-wing law fare. Obama finds time to defend Muslim migrant Illhan Omar but no time to mention France being burned to the ground by Muslim migrant terrorists. Odd.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Every Democrat legislator yesterday demanded American citizens be disarmed because a criminal committed a crime, while today we find out that a senator is saying, out loud, that she wants to prosecute every Republican member of any Republican administration to keep Republicans from participating in government. These two things are not unrelated

Tonight, France burned. America, you should be watching very carefully. Today, October 17, 2026, more than half a million people marched across France against the cost of living. By 8pm, around 400 had been arrested. In Paris, police turned water cannons on the crowds at Place de la RĂ©publique, and one march was stopped 150 meters from the ÉlysĂ©e Palace. Of the 195 people arrested in the capital by the afternoon, only one actually lived in Paris. Mobs forced their way into the city halls of Marseille and Lille. In Lyon, a tourism office was set on fire. In Rennes, barricades burned. Near Limoges, a highway was blocked and police cars were torched. And then came Limoges. A crowd of very young people stormed the city hall, a protected historic monument built in the 1880s. They flipped police cars in front of it and set them ablaze, then set the building itself on fire. The flames took the roof, the wedding hall, and the civil registry, the office that records every birth, every marriage, every death in the city. Tonight, the bell tower that has crowned Limoges for nearly 150 years collapsed. The mayor's response: "It's a monument that is burning, not the Republic." That is the problem in one sentence. Our leaders still think words can put out fires. None of this came out of nowhere. For twenty years, the French political class has excused everything. Every riot was "anger." Every burned car was a "social symptom." Every attack on police was "a reaction to provocation." And the hard left, La France Insoumise, which officially backed today's mobilization, built its electoral machine on an alliance with political Islamism: refusing to condemn, refusing to name, trading secularism and public order for votes. In France we have a word for it. Islamo-gauchisme. Islamo-leftism. Tonight you saw where that culture of excuse ends. A country where a mob can burn down a town hall, and the state arrives after the roof has already fallen in. My dear American friends, I say this with love, as someone who has lived among you and owes you a great deal: your midterms are on November 3rd. And the same alliance is growing inside your Democratic Party. The same far-left wing that treats disorder as protest and police as the enemy. The same activists who refuse to draw a line between legitimate dissent and those who openly despise the West. The same politicians who think tolerance means tolerating everything, including the people who want to burn it down. It always starts with excuses. Then comes impunity. Then come the flames. Same causes, same effects. If you create the conditions we created, you will get exactly what we got tonight. France was the country of the Enlightenment, of cathedrals and town halls that stood for centuries. Tonight, one of them collapsed live on social media while the government called for calm. My dear American friends, the only advantage you have over us is that you've been warned. Vote like your city hall depends on it. Because one day, it will.

You’re 25x more likely to be a millionaire than be homeless in the US
Replying to @hasanthehun
everyone thinks for some reason that they are closer to becoming a millionaire than becoming homeless.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Recent polling shows a majority of US voters believe they are more likely to become homeless than a millionaire. US data show roughly 23.6 million millionaires versus ~746,000 experiencing homelessness on a given night. dataforprogress.org/blog/2026/8/13

My Senator is an antisemitic douche.
Today, another American citizen & journalist was brutalized by Israeli settlers attacking Palestinians in the West Bank. This repeated violence & brazen impunity for attacks against Americans & Palestinians alike are unacceptable. When will Trump & Rubio DO SOMETHING? washingtonpost.com/world/202

I will post on this every day until someone pays attention. 81 days. That's how long it's been since Gary "Bubba" Blair died from "profound dehydration" in a feces-covered jail cell. A mentally ill man died of thirst in a South Carolina jail cell. In 2026. Let that sink in. No one has been charged. Gary "Bubba" Blair, 43, was loved by his family. Here's what's been reported: đŸ”č Feb. 22: Bubba is booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center on a nonviolent charge of impersonating a law enforcement officer. đŸ”č His family says he weighed nearly 300 lbs going in and had struggled with serious mental illness since age 18. đŸ”č April 22: He writes to his father, "I've lost about 90 pounds so far. I'm starving to death in here." He says he's drinking from his toilet and has no mattress, and closes with "No help for a white man." đŸ”č May: He writes to a circuit judge, "I weighed 292. 9 days later I weighed 270." đŸ”č A judge finds him incompetent to stand trial but restorable with treatment. đŸ”č June 3: He's ordered into the care of the SC Office of Mental Health for treatment. đŸ”č He never gets there. Officials reportedly cite a backlog of about 9 months. đŸ”č July 24: He's found dead on the floor of his feces-covered cell, 51 days after that order. đŸ”č The autopsy rules it a homicide from "profound dehydration" due to "deprivation of water," according to the family's attorney. đŸ”č 6 black jail staff are fired, including the detention director. đŸ”č SLED is still investigating. đŸ”č Charges: none Bubba would have been begging for food, for water, for help. He said he wasn't allowed to shower for 28 days. He said he was beaten. 81 days, and barely a peep from national media. Bubba deserved help. He deserved water. He deserved food. He deserved better. And no one gives a damn. What do you think would be happening if a black man died in the same circumstances, and with a white jailer crew watching? Share this so he isn't forgotten.

I’m sorry, but hackers remotely turning off refrigeration systems at hundreds of supermarkets and destroying all their fresh and frozen food is INSANE. We’ve connected so much of our physical world to the internet that apparently even keeping milk cold is now a cybersecurity problem. What the actual hell.

Want to know what radicalized me? We have two political parties. One thinks sentences like: “The Somali gang member who shot two people outside a high school football game in suburban Minneapolis has been released on bail” are perfectly reasonable. The other doesn’t. One party wants to open our borders to millions more people from economically disadvantaged, culturally misaligned countries like Somalia. The other doesn’t. One party’s 2024 presidential candidate supports ending cash bail. She even sponsored legislation to get rid of it nationwide. To quote her: “End money bail. Our bail system is unjust and broken.” The other doesn’t. One party’s most prominent member of Congress advocates for abolishing prisons (looking your way, AOC!). “I want to abolish our carceral system that’s designed to trap Black and Brown men.” The other doesn’t. We all have to choose. Politics is now a zero-sum, winner-take-all game. That wasn’t always the case, and I wish it weren’t the case now, but it is. I didn’t make the rules. So I’ve chosen. Like it or not, you’re going to have to choose too.
