Last night, City Council approved a collective bargaining ordinance for city workers. A big win for workers & the community they serve.
May we never forget.
On this 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, may we always remember, and never forget, the importance of that day for this nation and the firefighters who gave it all protecting their fellow citizens.

Today, the Virginia General Assembly approved the Commonwealth’s biennial budget which includes over $4 million to provide life-saving cancer screenings for Virginia’s firefighters.

We are extremely proud of our brothers and sisters from @IAFF2068 and @VATF1 who are actively saving lives amidst the devastation in Venezuela. Virginians should be proud to have such dedicated and experienced rescuers located in the Commonwealth but available to serve the world.
This Memorial Day, please remember all of the brave men and women who gave their lives in service with the United States military. May their sacrifice, and the sacrifice of their families and loved ones, never be forgotten.
