To add to this, I want to clarify that it will be a while until I can give another update on this game, as I now need to work up a player system from the ground up. It's a change of pace, but hopefully it will be worthwhile.

I already started yesterday figuring out what game engine to use, as I could tell from the poll and my own opinion, that I did not want to make my game on Roblox. The game engine I’m going to use is Defold for note.

The project I currently have going, Unexpected Places, might still work if I was to use Godot or something. Roblox has it’s limitations, not only as an engine, but also as a platform, as I fear that moderation could take down assets or the whole project.

Standalone would also probably be more expensive, so I would probably end up asking for donations more. But if it ends up being really good, I could release on Steam type shit..
