⚠️ Beavers in England are at risk ⚠️ Yesterday, UK Gov reneged on their commitment to give them legal protection. This is yet another broken promise. RT to join us in letting @VictoriaPrentis @DefraGovUK know that it’s not good enough. (1/4) wildlifetrusts.org/news/beav…

I just signed the open letter calling on @RoyalFamily to ‘rewild’ the land they own - to boost wildlife and fight the climate crisis. Will you add your name too? speakout.38degrees.org.uk/ca…

It seems @HS2Ltd contractors have taken the law into their own hands , marauding around beating up protestors and continuing to destroy ancient woodland during the breeding season . Please share this – they cannot continue to get away with it .

Our local rec is covered in daisies, buttercups and dandelions and looks lovely. These flowers don’t prevent people using the space. The grass is still quite short. Why can’t it always be this way? RT if you agree!!

"At Raveningham, Fiennes removed about twenty per cent of the estate, more than a thousand acres, from food production. But his yields increased enough to cancel out the difference." Highly recommended reading: newyorker.com/magazine/2020/…

Can Farming Make Space for Nature?

After Brexit, the obsessions of Jake Fiennes could change how Britain uses its land.

I home educated all 3 of my children and it’s kind of magical and liberating - keep it simple, don’t do ‘school’ at home, do real things, real jobs, let them get bored and see what happens. But I would limit screen time and computer games!

I have visited gardens all over the world, but nowhere has been more interesting or beautiful than Iran, and nowhere have I been treated with more kindness and hospitality.

It’s a mad , mad , mad , mad world and the lack of perspective has been driving me mad . It doesn’t matter what colour , religion , sexual orientation , age , political leaning or social economic group we belong to - we are one species on one planet with one big problem Please RT

Speaking to local tree officer & he's just told me that due to the high demand for #TreePlanting for #ClimateAction UK nurseries are importing tree stock & they're finding diseases in these trees. This is madness. Why are we not promoting local stock &/or Natural Regeneration!?
