Some moments mean more to you after the room is empty and everything is over.
The Facebook & Instagram Ads Intensive Seminar is one of those moments for me.
For two days, we had people at different stages of business and advertising experience in one room, all trying to answer one important question:
How do you actually acquire customers consistently?
We went beyond Ads Manager.
We talked about offers, funnels, messaging, targeting, campaign structure, budgets, scaling, metrics, CPA and the business thinking behind advertising.
Because Facebook Ads is not magic.
A good campaign cannot permanently fix a weak offer, poor messaging or bad business economics.
What made the experience meaningful to me was seeing people actually engage — laptops open, workbooks filled, questions coming from real businesses and ideas being challenged.
More than 200 people applied.
79 were invited across the selection process.
50 confirmed their participation.
But the numbers are not what matter most to me.
What matters is what happens after.
The campaigns launched.
The offers improved.
The customers acquired.
The mistakes avoided.
The people who become genuinely better at what they do.
I’m grateful to Oloye Akin Alabi @akinalabi , everyone who helped make the programme possible, the team behind the scenes and everyone who showed up ready to learn.
For me personally, this training represents another marker in my own journey.
There is still so much I want to learn, build and become, but standing in that room and sharing knowledge I’ve gained through studying, experimenting, building, failing and improving meant a lot to me.
The seminar has ended.
The implementation has just begun.
And I believe this is only the beginning too.

I attended the Facebook & Instagram Ads Intensive Seminar with @TByusuff October 7–8 in Ibadan.
I took away several lessons, and I want to share some of the things that stood out to me.
I'm leaving the seminar with more to think about and, most importantly, lessons to put into practice.
Thank you, @TByusuff , for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Now, it's time to implement.

I also learnt the importance of testing, analysing results, and making adjustments based on what the data tells you.
Instead of changing everything at once, identify what's not working and work on it.

Another lesson that stood out to me was the importance of understanding your metrics.
Clicks and impressions are useful, but they don't tell the whole story.
What matters is how your ads contribute to actual business results.

One thing I learnt is that running ads goes beyond setting up campaigns and putting money behind them.
You need to understand your audience, have a compelling offer, communicate it clearly, and know your numbers.
