Man, I couldn’t be more fired up about this season. I’ll be in the broadcast booth for 76 games this fall across college football and the NFL and lucky enough to be a part of College Gameday’s 22 studio shows. It all starts this weekend with the 500th episode of Gameday down in Baton Rouge and will end with trips to the National Championship on Jan. 25th and Super Bowl LXI on Valentine’s Day. Incredibly fortunate to be able to do this for a living and have the opportunity to work with some of the best people in television. Grateful for every single minute of this experience… 🏈

Gleason’s blocked punt occurred with 13:30 on the clock in the first quarter. This time, Bijan Robinson busts loose for a 59-yard TD with 13:34 on the clock. Fast starts in both games - the situation is reversed though.

When Steve Gleason laid out to block Michael Koenen’s punt, the entire building lost its collective mind. The ensuing celebration is the most memorable moment ever I’ve witnessed. No collection of human beings will ever erupt like the fans at the Superdome did that night. It’s the loudest any stadium will ever get. Not Seattle or Kansas City. Not the 110,000 capacity buildings in college football. It was here. In New Orleans. In that moment. The concrete structure of the broadcast booth was literally shaking. This was my 3rd game as a member of Monday Night Football. Twenty years and nearly 400 games later, our crew is back to help commemorate the anniversary tonight. #DomeComing #WhoDat

Jets vs Bears at Soldier Field. We’re about ready to kick this thing off… I had the Bears on Monday Night last week and the Jets last Sunday. Always easier to prep for these games when you’ve seen them previously. Excited to see Tyson Bagent today. That’s an easy kid to root for 🐻.

College Football Notes… 🏈 UGA is outscoring opponents 63-0 in the first quarter this season. 🏈 Miami is outscoring opponents by an average of 42.8 ppg. The Canes average margin of victory would rank as the 15th best scoring offense in the FBS. 🏈 Alabama has scored on all 19 of its red zone possessions this season (15 TD, 4 FG) 🏈 Kamario Taylor entered the year with 150-1 odds to win the Heisman. He’s now at 7-1 odds. 🏈 Iowa has won 5 of its last 8 at home against top-five opponents. 🏈 Notre Dame has defended 123 rushing attempts this season. Only 1 has gone for more than 15 yards. 🏈 UNC has yet to score 30 points in a game under Bill Belichick, the longest drought of any Power-4 team since he was hired. 🏈 Since 2024, Miami has four losses as a Top-10 team vs unranked opponents. Only one thought after leaving Ford Field… Jared Goff is criminally underrated. He constantly makes the right decision, has excellent touch and most importantly - the accuracy into small windows is special 🎯. Never gets mentioned as one of the best in the league but he deserves to be.
