The latest San Diego RHNA numbers underscore a simple truth: we do not have enough housing stock for the people who live and work here. Housing is the solution, and closing the gap will take more homes, not just more urgency.
Waiting is an action. When someone experiences homelessness and has done all they can do, turned in all paperwork… they then have to wait.
That’s not someone who’s not actively trying to end their homelessness. It’s just the best we’ve got.

When I was on the streets, a lot of my peers fell into addiction after becoming homeless. This friend, fought addiction and beat it, then she beat homelessness and set an excellent example for her son.
I know what’s gonna happen if she hits the streets again, do u want that?
There should be a tax break for people who attend Therapy regularly. We can all admit it’s a problem even if we think we’re RIGHT.
All these “I tell it like it is” folks tell it from their ego and trauma and rarely do I find it necessary to see their lack of critical thinking.
