ℹ️Club Statement: First-Team Management Whitehawk Football Club can confirm that Jay Lovett has stepped down from his position as First-Team Manager. The club would like to thank Jay for his hard work, dedication and commitment during his time at Whitehawk. We wish him and Barry all the very best for the future. A Message from Jay Lovett: “It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to resign from my position as First Team Manager of Whitehawk FC. This has not been an easy decision, but I have found it increasingly difficult to balance the workload of my day-to-day coaching commitments with the time and attention required to give Whitehawk FC the commitment it deserves. I have always believed that this role requires complete dedication, and unfortunately, I have found it difficult to give the club the time it needs alongside my other responsibilities. Whilst the results have not been where we would have wanted them to be, I feel that stepping aside now gives the club the best opportunity to bring someone in early enough to make a positive impact, push the team forward in the league and get Whitehawk FC back to where it belongs. The club deserves success, and I genuinely believe there is enough quality within the group to achieve that. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ned and John for giving me the opportunity to manage Whitehawk FC in the first place. I am grateful for the trust you placed in me and for the chance to take on the challenge. I would also like to thank Kay and Andy for their continued support throughout my time at the club. A special thank you goes to the supporters who continued to get behind us when the chips were down. Your support has not gone unnoticed, and it is something I have really appreciated. I am disappointed that things have not worked out as we would have hoped, but I leave with nothing but respect for the club and everyone involved. I sincerely hope Whitehawk can turn things around, climb the league and have the success its supporters deserve. Barry and I would like to wish everyone at Whitehawk FC the very best of luck for the remainder of the season and for the future.” Jay Lovett
