To be clear: I don't really like Israel. The AIPAC lobbying, the aggressive posturing, the entitlement. It's off-putting. But all that pales in comparison to how much I HATE the palestinian cause. You motherfuckers are insufferable.

Is there a harness I can use to replace Google Assistant? Like I want the integration but I also want custom instructions, persistent memory and a model that's not retarded

This goofball warning "you're gonna get zero product support" like Adobe customers ever got product support
It's certainly something to say "no one knows what's in it" when the code is on github while defending a product where the code... isn't Also pretty crazy to assume Adobe coders aren't using LLMs to write code

Muse Wonder is, out of the box, underwhelming. Opus & Astra are better at both creative work and general reasoning. Maybe it's good at code but after the experience I've had I wouldn't trust it with my stuff. Womp womp.

End of Oak Street was fucking awesome. The concept is (brilliantly?) stupid but it's such an entertaining and very human rollercoaster ride. Highly recommend going into it with no context and no expectations.

The livestream is silly they need to have it in an arena and give tickets to the victim's families
A barbaric idea, beneath our dignity as a country. Push back on this.

In 30 days I've gone from Fable to Astra to Opus to tag-teaming Opus & Astra and now I'm getting ready to hop into bed with Gemini. Feels like living in one of the EA polycules.

Not sure who needs to hear this but my Opus 5.5 animation tests (10 second video) were taking 10x longer than Astra animation tests. Like hours. Debugged and it turns out that Opus was using subagents, those subagents burned up their full 128k token limit on reasoning, and then failed with no output. Again and again until one finally slipped through. No alert from Claude code. I asked it to look at Astra's output and it thought Astra was cheating or taking shortcuts. So I had it ask Astra what it was doing differently (Astra generated the test in 10 minutes to Opus's 100 minutes). Astra told it to look at its own worker logs and that's where it found this bullshit. Just an FYI if your shit ever takes way longer than it should - subagents are capped at 128k and then fail silently.

I once ND'd through my apartment wall and blew a hole in the stucco outside and after moving out I learned that bees had built a hive inside the wall so basically I'm a conservationist

Coffee is for closers.
People who drank more coffee had less body fat, less visceral fat, and more lean mass than less-frequent or non-drinkers. The biggest benefit was seen at 5 or more cups per day. And for men, every extra cup per day was associated with a ~10 ng/dL higher total testosterone. Higher coffee intake was also associated with better glucose and insulin regulation in men. This was an observational study, but mechanistic and experimental evidence actually supports coffee's benefits on metabolic and hormonal health. I'm willing to believe there's a real link here rather than draw a conclusion such as "coffee drinkers live healthier lives in general."
