After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

Watching all the Twitter architects and construction people get mad about this reminds me of sitting in a conference room with taxi company owners in 2014 listening to them talking about how uber x would never get licensed to pick people up at the airport in New York or phoenix
I spent the weekend using AI to explore renovation ideas for a property. Each concept generated was basically construction-ready, since I fed it land & soil surveys (and generated everything else off Zillow and satellite photos).
The future is going to have very few intermedaries between consumers and the last mile of labor.
And more broadly: consumers will be spending a lot more on custom projects to get precisely what they want, since the reasons they've been cost prohibitive (design and engineering) will no longer matter.
Essentially, a lot more things are going to be custom-fabricated—electronics, clothing, home fixtures. The next era of consumer tech is going to make everyone a hobbyist and builder.

Holy shit IT WORKS!! One shotted with GPT6 Astra
I now have a fork of UEVR where I can play any UE game within a volumetric window!
This actually renders the game in 3D - meaning, two real game cameras, not some depth map bullshit. Everything looks right
This is an alternative (and more comfortable IMO) way to play most 2D->VR hacked games as there’s no motion sickness, and no need to redesign the UI and interaction systems
Needs a lot more polish before I publish it but OMG IT WORKS!

Today we're also opening the weights for Muse Glimmer, a great 30B parameter dense model that can run locally. Soon we'll also release the weights for Muse Spark 1.2, our latest foundation model. Meta is a strong supporter of open source and I'm proud of these releases. Congrats to @alexandr_wang and the MSL team for all your great work on these models.
For anyone who isn't a mathematician, this is the section to read.
To achieve this incredible result, most of the inputs to the model had nothing to do with math; they were simply positive encouragement to keep going.
This closely mirrors my experience optimizing MLX, where I was a top contributor in the mlx.fast challenge. I use a loop where, at regular intervals, I deliver a fixed script telling the model that major breakthroughs are possible, that others have done it before, and that "you can do it too."
I'll confirm this with further analysis, but based on preliminary findings, 90%+ of all my improvements occur either in the round when the encouragement is given or in the round immediately after.
How closely these models mirror human behavior is truly astonishing. Going to dig into model cognitive bias now.
We asked an unreleased research version of Claude to take a stab at the Riemann hypothesis.
It didn’t solve it, but it did make strides on a related problem: it increased the lower bound for the fraction of zeros of the Riemann zeta function that satisfy the hypothesis from 41.6% to 67.2%.

🚨 WOW—THIS is the real breaking news in the Movement Labs bankruptcy.
Forget the headline that Movement Labs simply “filed Chapter 11.” The docket reveals what may be an extraordinary new crypto restructuring tactic:
Transfer the operating business, IP, contracts, token rights and employees before bankruptcy. Leave the legacy company with $60,000 and litigation claims.
Then have a Foundation-controlled Cayman SPV fund a Subchapter V case conditioned on court approval of the transfers and sweeping releases for nearly everyone surrounding the successor business.
Here is what the filings say:
Under the prepetition Project Fenix Agreement, Movement Labs transferred its remaining IP and key contracts to the Movement Network Foundation, surrendered its MOVE-token distribution rights and agreed to wind down.
A separate transaction transferred its team to Move Industries for only $1.2 million.
By the petition date, Movement Labs admits it had:
• no material operating assets
• no operating business
• no full-time employees
• approximately $60,000 in cash
• principally litigation claims and residual contractual rights
Now MNF DIP SPV Ltd., a Cayman subsidiary of the Foundation, is offering up to $5.7 million of DIP and exit financing.
But the money comes with extraordinary conditions:
• The bankruptcy court must assume—and therefore preserve—the Fenix Agreement
• The debtor must pursue a plan acceptable to the DIP lender
• The litigation-trust trustee must be acceptable to the lender in its “sole discretion”
• The trust is absolutely prohibited from investigating or suing the Foundation, Movement Limited, the DIP lender or their enormous affiliate universe
• The Foundation parties receive sweeping postpetition releases
The Fenix Agreement apparently preserved a narrow set of potential claims—including claims involving fraud or willful misconduct.
The new DIP releases appear designed to eliminate even those remaining claims.
The documents also expressly require releases for:
• Cooper Scanlon, Movement Labs’ co-founder
• Joseph Golding-Ochsner, a corporate lawyer and former Celsius deputy general counsel
• Ruby Sekhon, Polychain Capital’s chief legal and compliance officer
• Move Industries and all its officers, directors and employees—including Torab Arya/Torab Torabi
• any additional parties the debtor and DIP lender later agree to release
Who remains outside the protected circle?
Most conspicuously, former co-founder Rushi Manche, plus the market maker and other third parties allegedly involved in the MOVE-token launch.
So the practical result appears to be:
The operating assets and team move into the Foundation/successor-company ecosystem. That entire ecosystem is immunized from estate litigation. The empty debtor becomes a Foundation-funded litigation shell designed principally to pursue Manche and the outside market-maker defendants.
And the Foundation-affiliated lender appears to retain senior repayment rights against the litigation structure and its recoveries.
Think about that architecture:
Fund the litigation. Control the plan. Approve the trustee. Define who can be sued. Protect your own group from investigation. Sit ahead of the recoveries.
All inside Subchapter V, where there is ordinarily no creditors’ committee to investigate the prepetition transfers or challenge the releases.
Movement Labs calls it a “Global Resolution.”
I think the real question is whether bankruptcy is being used to preserve legitimate claims - or to obtain judicial absolution for everyone associated with the transfer of the valuable business while concentrating all litigation on a carefully selected group of outsiders.
Only $750,000 has received interim approval.
Objections to the final DIP order are due August 20 at 4:00 p.m. ET, and the final hearing is August 27 at 11:00 a.m. ET before Judge Thomas M. Horan.
This deserves intense scrutiny from the Subchapter V trustee, the U.S. Trustee, creditors and the court.
Follow me - I’m reviewing the entire docket and will continue reporting what I find.
Big news: Kimi-K3 by @Kimi_Moonshot is now #1 in the Frontend Code Arena with 1679 pts, surpassing Claude Fable 5.

Replying to @OpenAI
Sol is our new flagship and a step function better than GPT-5.5.
Terra delivers performance competitive to GPT-5.5 at 2x lower cost.
Luna is our most cost-efficient model, delivering strong capability at our lowest cost.
Together, the GPT-5.6 family gives people and developers more choice in how they balance intelligence, speed, and cost.
