If the GOP wants to survive the midterms, the best course of action at this point, given the president's actions over the last couple of days is to impeach him.
His desperate attempt to drop diesel prices & save them in the midterms is in clear opposition to public interest.
Not only that, it won't work in time to have an effect on public opinion, because the refining capacity that he needs Russia to have for it to work already doesn't exist.
Not to mention the fact that this completely defeats the entire purpose of the sanctions bills just passed.
