A photo of 3 young kids being put to bed in the back of a car after their family was made homeless yesterday, has gone viral.
However, with the power of social media and the good will of Irish people, the family was accommodated last night.
The photo brought many angry and frustrated comments that 3 young children nearly had to sleep overnight in a car in this day in age.
Below is one of the appeals for help for the family:
"How is this right 3 young children made homeless today. Being put to bed in the back of a car for school tomorrow.
" How can they have all these new builds and they can’t house our own. I pray no one ever finds themselves in this position.
"Someone out there should be able to help them. Please free to tag any politician/ counselor you think that could help them ..please share !".

Have had 3 babies and the 4th is on the way. None of my postpartums have been what I would call easy. After my first, especially, I had a lot of anxiety over her being safe, healthy, etc. Thankfully this subsided after a few weeks. But I can tell you this: the very LAST thing that would have helped me during this time would have been setting up my phone, pressing record, doing 2-3 takes of me acting sad, editing it, then posting to social media in the hopes of receiving affirmation from strangers. These videos are either hyperbolic performances or they’re just willingly exacerbating their struggle. Either way, it’s completely unhealthy

I am utterly shattered at heart by the decision of Louth County Council to grant planning permission to a corporation to destroy Cú Chulain's castle in space of residential properties.
As a college student in Dundalk and spokesperson for IBÉ, I have been very vocal and active towards Louth County Council's ongoing fallacy of detrimental dismissal of Irish locals and their culture along with the general attack on nationalist spirit in what ought to be strongest presence serving town being on the border.
This is just the latest instance.
Not only a historically invaluable site due to archaeological status but also an informed dehredation of Irish cultural integrity by way of the destruction and defilement of a sacred site dedicated to the most iconic and embodying of Irish spiritual virtues hero in Cú Chulainn.
Even despite the petition against it having over 10,000 signatures.
Not only morally damnable but also clearly anti-democratic and anti-nationalist.
All you have to do is look at social media and you can tell the locals are near unanimously outraged and so that outrage deserves to be heard and represented.
I will not let this enraging insipid act go unanswered.
I am currently in the coordinating my own protest/public meeting alongside other nationalist figures some time next week.

Vi o vídeo do Poatan agora com as queixas sobre os golpes ilegais, e eu mudei de opinião. Isso foi determinante sim na luta. No pós UFC eu defendi que isso não teve um peso real, pois achava que o Gane iria acabar com a luta de qualquer jeito, porém isso não é verdade.
Revemos um momento especifico ontem desses golpes ilegais, onde o Poatan aplicou um single leg no Gane, e ia cair por cima, mas após alguns golpes na nuca, amoleceu e perdeu a posição.
Porém não é só isso. A partir do momento que o Gane desfere os golpes ilegais, o Poatan tem o direito IMEDIATO à luta ser interrompida, e ele ter 5 minutos de descanso pra se recuperar, assim como em um chute no saco ou dedada no olho, isso é regra.
Se o Gane fosse um lutador limpo e tivesse encerrado a luta de forma limpa, isso não seria debate, porém foram 11 golpes ilegais no total que nós contamos, e no momento que ele foi sujo, ele se colocou nessa posição. E nós sabemos que não foi a primeira nem a segunda vez que ele fez isso.
Aliás, essa luta deveria ter o resultado modificado pra um No Contest, essa é a verdade.

Just after 10:30pm last night on Kinnaird Avenue, North Belfast, a man was slashed and stabbed in a frenzied attack, with the suspect on top of him on the ground repeatedly hacking at his head and neck in what looked like an attempt to cut his head off. Blood everywhere.
Hero bystanders dragged the attacker off.
The suspect appears to be a foreign national as he is shouting in a foreign language during the assault.
PSNI have one suspect in custody. Victim rushed to hospital with serious head and neck injuries.
