I’ll do it. Immigrants are not eligible for Medicaid. The only time an immigrant receives any sort of coverage is if they have a medical emergency - like a heart attack. Because of our EMTALA law, anyone presenting to an emergency must be treated, regardless of insurance coverage. When people who do not have insurance go to the hospital for an emergency, the hospital social services will assist them in applying for temporary Medicaid so the treatment will be covered. This doesn’t necessarily help the patient - they weren’t going to pay anyway. Who it benefits is the HOSPITAL. If you take away federal Medicaid payments from hospitals who provide emergency treatment to immigrants, you are forcing those hospitals to provide the treatment for free. This will cause hospitals all over the country to close, especially in rural areas where they are already struggling. You want hospitals to close? Keep voting for Republicans. Done.
Since every Republican in Congress is repeating their false talking point over & over that “Democrats want to shut down the govt to give free healthcare to illegal aliens,” it would be helpful if some Democrats in Congress could address that argument with facts at some point.

Man comes to the US from Lebanon. Starts out delivering pizzas, becomes a Nobel winning neuroscientist. Trump freezes his funding, he gets an email from China offering to move his lab “any city, any university I want" with guaranteed funding for 20 years. What are we doing?

I'm not a clown like Heisenberg...and I do NOT do PREDICTIONS....when I draw arrows...they are to illustrate 'If this then that' scenarios.... So if weekly close over this down trend line = green arrow UP....If not...arrow continues down.l...

May I suggest a way to make the images something people can interact with? Heisenberg has managed to crack the code on getting comments on his tweets. Could be you post two paths and people vote on what they think will be the path. You provide your prediction mid-day?

Market Makers don't manipulate price— we're trapped by our own hedging requirements. When SPX drifts between long and short strikes, our systems start buying and selling futures in ways that create predictable paths. (short thread)

I just sent this chart to a friend, figured I would share it here as well, as more tourist make their way into the volatility ecosystem.
People still naively thinking vol has to go down. /VX to spot $VIX looks attractive, /VX very well may roll up to spot with a few days left trading here.

I just recorded a short video walkthrough to give you a closer look at how I approach LONG setups in a market like this. I share a couple of recent entry points, how I identified them, and the way I’m currently managing those positions. You’ll notice the recording was made using Bob Weissman’s Zoom account, which is why his name appears on the screen. Incidentally, Bob is your point of contact if you’re looking for more information on the upcoming 2025 Master Trader Program or the new Minervini Markets 360 platform, which is set to launch later this month. You can reach Bob directly at 917-268-1800. I hope the video provides clarity, insight, and practical takeaways you can apply to your own trading. Enjoy!

I’ve been quite vocal about my belief that 2025 will be a pivotal year for equity volatility. This perspective isn’t rooted in traditional macroeconomic themes like inflation or recession; rather, it stems directly from the positioning dynamics we’re observing in equities. We’re seeing a variety of players—from foreign pensions and domestic RIAs to even hedge funds—dusting off their 2016 playbook in anticipation of Trump taking office. This focus involves increasing exposure to U.S. equities, selling more volatility, and deploying additional risk capital (more net leverage). When positioning becomes heavily skewed in one direction, it tends to amplify the demand for volatility protection during equity market declines. While equities may continue to trend upward overall, any pullbacks are likely to bring strong volatility performance 🎭

Just a heads-up to everybody: Looks like the "most savage account on X" is again making another appearance on The most savage show in conservative media on Monday. Will be re-joining the All-American Savage show w/ @johnburk39 on Monday at 1pm EST, where we're going to discuss (as he puts it) "basic-ass financial literacy" to insulate yourself from the coming Trump economic destruction, as well as mercilessly mocking whatever the news of the day is. Haven't discussed it, but maybe we can discuss actual, you know, GOOD presidents on President's day (we're gonna have to dig back to the last century...) Those of you who were there for the last one, maybe you can share stories of what you're gonna do w/ all that free money you found laying around in the $HOOD play called during the last one :P. Spread it far, spread it wide. And if you don't already follow John, you should do so - you'll learn some things. I know a lot of you newer people are here for the stonks, but he can help keep your outlook straight.
