We urgently need a HUMAN REVIEW of our channel. Our channel was denied monetization for “related channel,” but we do not operate any suspended channel and no clear explanation was provided. We create original philosophical content, write every script by hand, and produce every video for a real audience. Please review The Shadow Work manually.
@TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators
After six months, The Shadow Work has finally been remonetized by YouTube. This is more than just an important milestone for our team, it is a reminder that perseverance and meaningful work are always worth believing in.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to YouTube for taking the time to carefully and fairly review our channel, giving us the opportunity to continue this journey.
Most importantly, we want to thank every one of you who stood by The Shadow Work during this challenging time. You kept watching our videos, sharing your stories in the comments, and encouraging us to keep going. Your support has been our greatest source of strength.
We don't see this as the end of a difficult chapter, but as the beginning of a new one.
Moving forward, our team will continue to do our very best to create thoughtful, meaningful, and high-quality content inspired by Carl Jung's psychology, content that helps people better understand themselves and live more authentic lives.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to YouTube, and thank you to every member of The Shadow Work community for believing in us and walking this path with us.
The journey continues, and we're excited for everything that lies ahead.❤️
Dear @TeamYouTube,
Recently, we have seen several creators receive monetization back after their channels were manually reviewed and reconsidered.
This gives us hope.
The Shadow Work has now been demonetized for over 140 days. During that time, we rebuilt the channel, removed hundreds of videos, improved our content, followed every instruction we received, and continued serving our audience.
We still believe there may be a misunderstanding regarding the “related channel” decision, as we only actively operate one channel and have never received a clear explanation of the issue.
We respectfully ask for the same opportunity: a genuine manual review of The Shadow Work.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are simply asking for a fair chance to have our case reviewed by a real person.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
@YouTube @YouTubeCreators
Dear @TeamYouTube,
It has been over 110 days since The Shadow Work lost monetization, and after all this time, we are still only receiving automated replies.
We appealed.
We waited 90 days.
We rebuilt the channel.
We contacted support multiple times.
We opened a support case.
We explained our situation carefully and respectfully.
But no real person has ever clearly explained what the actual issue is.
Our channel keeps being labeled as “related to another suspended channel,” yet we only actively operate one channel and no specific connection has ever been identified.
At this point, we are simply asking for one real human being to manually review our case and explain what exactly needs to be fixed.
Creators cannot solve a problem that is never explained.
Please stop closing cases with automated responses and help us understand what the real issue is.
@YouTube @YouTubeCreators
It has now been over 100 days since The Shadow Work lost monetization, and we still do not know what the actual problem is.
We did everything we believed YouTube wanted us to do. We appealed the decision, waited the full 90 days, deleted over 500 videos, rebuilt the channel from the ground up, improved every aspect of the content, and reapplied with the hope that our work would finally receive a fair review.
Instead, the channel was rejected again for “related channel.”
The problem is that we only actively operate one channel, and no one has ever clearly explained what specific connection was found, what triggered this classification, or what exactly we are supposed to fix.
Over the past months, we have contacted support multiple times, received a support case, exchanged emails, and tried every respectful path available. But almost every response we received was automated policy text repeating the same statement without addressing the real concern.
How are creators supposed to correct a problem that is never identified?
What happens if we wait another 90 days, reapply again, and still receive the exact same result without ever knowing where the issue actually is?
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for transparency, accountability, and one genuine human review.
The Shadow Work is a real channel with a real creative team behind it. Every script is written manually, every video is carefully produced, and we continue creating for an audience that publicly supports this work every single day.
We respectfully ask @TeamYouTube, @YouTube, and @YouTubeCreators to review our case properly and clearly explain what issue needs to be resolved.
Keep fighting, don't give up.
Day 8 of requesting @TeamYouTube for an update on Case ID 4-2479000040828.
This is my second "inauthentic content" flag in 40 days, despite being manually reviewed and reinstated on March 19th for this exact process. My content is uniquely crafted and specifically designed for the meditation and spiritual community. It is not mass-produced; every video is a manual, meditative workflow intended to provide deep value to my viewers.
I have provided full screen-recording proof of this creative process. I am still waiting for a human specialist to review the merged evidence and clear this technical loop.

It's been over 100 days since our channel, The Shadow Work, was demonetized. We, a group of eight, have gone through some really tough times, experiencing extreme stress and declining mental health without knowing where we went wrong so we could fix it.
During this time, we’ve done everything we were asked to do. We waited, deleted over 500 videos, rebuilt the entire channel, reapplied, and still got rejected again for “related channel” with no clear explanation.
We genuinely don’t operate any suspended channel, and we still don’t know what the actual issue is.
For over 100 days, we’ve been trying to get help, but all we receive are automated replies with no real guidance.
We are a real creative team making original psychological content, writing every script by hand, and building videos for a real audience that supports this work.
But how are we supposed to fix something that is never explained?
If we wait another 90 days and face the same result again, what are we supposed to do?
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for one fair human review and a clear explanation so we can fix the issue properly.

Congratulations to @EternalMystYT @MovieTalkNOW1 @HakariAltAcc @adamfrancisco_ @stevenyjsong @MindlessPixels4 for fighting and winning; you have inspired thousands of creators to continue the fight including us.
A special thank you to @GoodLionTV @Thatumbrellaguy @Nina7Infinity @bear_ing for helping the content creator community fight for justice.

We have now:
– Submitted an appeal (got rejected almost immediately)
– Contacted support
– Received only automated replies
– Posted a public video explaining our situation
And still, no real response.
Our channel was flagged as “related to a suspended channel,” but we do not operate any suspended channel and no explanation has ever been provided.
This leaves us in an impossible situation:
How can we fix a problem that is never identified?
What happens if we wait 90 days and face the same result again?
We are not asking for special treatment.
We are asking for accountability and one real human review.
Please escalate this case properly.
Dear @TeamYouTube, We respectfully ask for a genuine manual review of The Shadow Work.
Our channel was denied monetization for being “suspended due to related channel,” yet no clear explanation, specific connection, or actionable guidance has been provided.
We are a real creative team producing original content for a real audience, and we sincerely want to follow every policy correctly.
If there is a real issue, please tell us clearly so we can fix it. If this is a mistaken association, please reconsider the decision.
No creator should be left in the dark, asked to wait months, and still not know what the actual problem is.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for fairness, clarity, and one honest human review.
Please review The Shadow Work manually.

Dear @TeamYouTube
We reached out privately and respectfully, but have received no response.

There is a real creative team behind this channel, and a real audience that values this work.
Please help review The Shadow Work properly.
Dear @TeamYouTube,
Our support case now appears to be closed after multiple automated replies, without ever addressing the core issue.
The Shadow Work was denied monetization with the reason “suspended due to related channel,” yet no clear explanation was ever provided. We were never told what specific issue exists, what connection was found, or what we can correct.
How is a real creative team supposed to fix a problem that is never explained?
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for fairness, transparency, and one genuine manual review by the appropriate team.
Please do not dismiss creators with automated emails while avoiding the actual concern.
The Shadow Work has a real audience, real impact, and a real team behind it.
We respectfully ask you to review our channel manually and tell us clearly what the issue is.
@YouTube @YouTubeCreators
Dear @TeamYouTube, After waiting 90 days, deleting 500+ videos, rebuilding the entire channel, and reapplying, our channel was rejected again for “related channel.” the appeal was denied almost immediately.
I respectfully request a real human review. If my channel is considered related to another suspended channel, please tell me exactly which channel that is and what evidence supports that claim.
I need clear information so I can properly resolve this issue. At the very least, please tell us where the problem lies so I can fix it.
We don't have many 90-day cycles. A team of 8 people working their hardest on one channel, and this is the result?
I have acted in good faith and worked hard to comply with all policies. Please help bring clarity and fairness.

@TeamYouTube We respectfully request a clear explanation of the issue we are actually experiencing.
Our channel was rejected for the reason “suspended due to a related channel,” while we do not own or manage any channels that have been suspended. This appears to be a mistake.
We genuinely want to comply with the rules and do everything correctly. But if we are not told what the real issue is, how can we resolve it?
Please provide a fair and clear manual review of The Shadow Work channel.
Update on The Shadow Work:
We have now received multiple generic replies, but our core question still has not been addressed.
Our channel was labeled as related to another suspended channel, yet no clear explanation or specific connection has been provided.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for one fair manual review by the appropriate team.
This channel was rebuilt carefully, serves a real audience, and is supported by a real community.
Please help review case #8-8069000040533. @TeamYouTube
We have received repeated generic replies, but our core request remains the same:
Please escalate case #8-8069000040533 for a real manual review of the channel association.

Two days have passed and all we've received is an automated reply, and yes, it's the weekend again, so we'll have to wait until next Monday for a chance to get a response from the support team.
Please send someone to review our channel. @TeamYouTube

UPDATE
Today I received a new email from the support team, however I think it's an automated response about the policy and asking me to wait another 90 days.
We just waited 90 days, edited the entire channel, waited 10 days for approval, and now you're asking me to wait another 90 days without any clear explanation?
I request a manual review by a real person, clearly identifying my error so I can correct it. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators
After 90 days of waiting, I fully cleaned up my channel, removed all old videos, and rebuilt everything from scratch. Yet I was rejected again by an automated system for “related channel suspension.” I only operate one channel and one AdSense account. Please let a real human review my channel, @TeamYouTube
After many weeks of reaching out and requesting support, we’ve come to a difficult realization.
The issue we are facing may not be bad intent, but overload. The YouTube support teams are extremely busy, and it increasingly feels like our channel is being skimmed, not truly reviewed.
Our videos are not being fully watched.
Our narration is not being carefully listened to.
The depth and educational value we work hard to deliver is not being genuinely experienced.
This leads to decisions based on surface patterns rather than actual content quality.
The Shadow Work is not mass-produced, templated, or automated. It is slow, deliberate, human-written philosophical content meant to be listened to, not scanned.
We are not asking for special treatment.
We are asking for time, attention, and a real human review.
If meaningful educational content can be judged without being truly watched, then many creators face the same risk.
This is why community voices matter more than ever.
If you believe in our work, we ask for your help:
Please leave a comment sharing your honest experience with our content
Please repost this message so it can reach the right people at YouTube
Your voice helps ensure that thoughtful, human-created educational content is truly seen and heard.
Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators
To be clear, it's been 5 days since I received this generic email notification. There's been no specific or satisfactory explanation. I suspect this is an automated response.
We need real people to moderate this; please provide a clear reason, not automated responses like this. You can't just send someone to jail without thoroughly explaining their crime. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube
