The Sentry (Film)

Welp, as the director of @TheSentryFilm, I kinda HAVE TO make this Commander... What do you think of this card @mypauljenkins?? 👀

From page to screen! Here's a clip from #TheSentry film I made over a decade ago. Love what the actors did with this. I feel like this scene really captures the themes about addiction that were prevalent in the original mini-series that #Thunderbolts didn't really touch on much.

Shout out to the coolest dude @mypauljenkins for supporting us and giving us his blessings to develop this lil short film, and of course Damien Gulde for being the first ever (and best) Robert Reynolds! 🙏

To this day I still get comments on YouTube asking our team to make a feature length movie for Marvel. 😅 Maybe someday... But for now, here's the teaser trailer we made for the crowdfunding campaign back then! @TheSentryFilm

Excited for the #Thunderbolts this weekend and finally seeing #TheSentry on the big screen! For those that don't know, as part of a film school project 13 years ago, I adapted the first issue of the original Sentry mini-series into a live action short film. @TheSentryFilm

Not sure how I feel about the #Thunderbolts movie so far, it seems like they missed on The Sentry. I adapted his story into a live action short over a decade ago (with blessings from the writer). If you'd like an *accurate* depiction of the character, check out @TheSentryFilm!

I think with all of the Marvel leaks about The Sentry showing up in an upcoming movie, people have been looking up the character and finding the short film I directed a decade ago! Been getting a lot of traffic to our @TheSentryFilm pages. 😅 youtu.be/T87CsrAigmI?si=46lx…

Hey @MarvelStudios, if you ever want to adapt #TheSentry into a movie/show, just hit me up. I already got a head start with @TheSentryFilm. 😁

World War Hulk was an awesome comic arc. THEY BEST BRING MY BOY THE SENTRY IN!! @TheSentryFilm

Hmmmm trying to think of a solid team comp that would actually beat Thanos here... Captain America (leadership!) Hulk (brawn!) Rogue (power stealing capabilities!) Iron Man (brains, tech!) Sentry (all you really need, would wreck him in an instant)

All of this #MCU TV stuff has got me so inspired. One day I'd love to continue @TheSentryFilm and adapt the rest of the series into films. ONE DAY... 😭 (Hire me Kevin Feige!)

8 years ago I adapted the 1st issue of my favourite comic mini-series into a short film (@TheSentryFilm). Ever since then, the writer @mypauljenkins and I have been Twitter friends, and this weekend we finally met at @dragoncon! It was great chatting with you - and thanks!!! 🙌

COULD IT BE??? THE SENTRY??? :O moviepilot.com/posts/3983371… Check out the adaptation I made a few years ago! @TheSentryFilm

@FilmCritHULK I went against the grain and adapted a comic in film school! Had such a blast. youtube.com/watch?v=T87CsrAi… @TheSentryFilm
