It's funny how people go on about the "Military Industrial Complex" when in reality, the American President is actively screwing over American defence companies in order to please his masters in Moscow.
I met in Kyiv with a team from the American defense company Lockheed Martin, which helps us save lives. Its Patriot systems and F-16 aircraft play an important role in defending against Russian ballistic missiles and jet-powered “shaheds.” And things are not easy with either right now. We discussed how we can expand and increase supplies. The company is currently ramping up production of ballistic missile interceptors. We count on the opportunity to purchase some of them to protect more lives. We are also trying to do everything possible to ensure that F-16 maintenance and repairs are carried out in Ukraine. Thank you for the meeting. It is important that Lockheed Martin has a presence in Ukraine. We are doing everything on our part to expand our partnership.

Western morons always think russia needs rewards to stop its aggression. They never think about pressure or threats. Sucidally stupid.
❗️The US is planning to resume the transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine, — NYT. They believe that gas revenues could encourage Moscow to stop the war, and Ukraine would receive money for the transit.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Marco Rubio: I saw somebody associated with the Ukrainian government say that people in Ukraine are dying because the U.S. is denying them information. That's scandalous. That's outrageous. That's simply not true. That's not accurate. Trump is responding to the insinuation that somehow he is doing things to deliberately harm Ukraine, which is not fair and not true.

The STG faces a crisis here if the Israelis are really willing to back an NGF offensive. Any such offensive would likely be limited to securing Suwayda’s western flank but Israeli participation could mean direct CAS for the NGF resulting in dozens of even hundreds of killed STG troops. And then the STG would basically have to accept it. There is little recourse. Reinforcements are likely to be bombed. If stiff resistance is put up, Israel could threaten to bomb Damascus again. If this is really coming imminently, we can likely link this to Israeli elections coming up here in about a week. Netanyahu would be willing to take American frustration if he can achieve a short victory that secures his political position. In Damascus though I can’t imagine this would go over well for the government.

Hegseth is directly responsible for Russian missiles hitting Ukrainian cities which otherwise would not. He brought the US into a poorly planned war which has dramatically drawn down critical munitions stockpiles and is now delaying purchases of defensive equipment which save lives. That is his legacy, on top of all his other catastrophes in his two years in power. He will be looked upon as a dangerous idiot by history.
🚨 NEW: U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has yet to approve the transfer of a "significant" batch of Patriot interceptors for Ukraine, sources say. "It's hard to call this a 'monthly supply,' because there's no set amount of how much you need for a month," a senior Ukrainian official says. "But it's significant." Some in Kyiv suspect Washington is holding the missiles back on purpose to pressure Ukraine, as Russia keeps striking Ukrainian cities. With @JimmySecUK kyivindependent.com/its-sign…

I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head. Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion. The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin. This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength

Zelensky is bombing oil factories to harm republicans in the midterms
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ukraine has long struck Russian oil refineries to disrupt war funding and respond to Russian attacks on its energy grid, per Zelensky. He has offered to halt if Russia does the same. No evidence indicates a motive to affect US midterms. abcnews.com/Politics/presi… washingtonpost.com/investigations… euromaidanpress.com/2026/10/12/zel…

I’ve just returned from another trip to #Syria. There’s a lot of takeaways, but one thing was palpable: The #Iran war has created *profound* regional & economic ripples that have directly challenged #Syria's capacity to meaningfully recover -- for the foreseeable future. 🧵

Zelensky: The question is: Can you give me missiles for Patriot? Because when I don't attack them, because you asked me not to attack them, they will attack me. It's fair if you give me something with which to defend myself. That's the minimum I'm asking for. And when I'm asking this, your answer is blocking Starlink.

President Zelenskyy told @FT he said to his military after Trump's declaration of an energy ceasefire not to strike Russian energy facilities. But Russia continued striking Ukraine's energy infrastructure. On the third day, after attacking with 39 ballistic missiles, Zelenskyy said he'd had enough: "That's it. The block [on targeting energy] is out." He told his military to resume attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, particularly because of the deaths and destruction Russia caused, but also after "such a massive attack, I didn't hear messages from President of the United States." youtube.com/watch?v=XoAq7xIh…

This is what actual anti-war, anti-Putin Russians sound like for all fans of Leonid Ragozin who find themselves confused.
The primary task of those opposing the Russian government is to do everything possible to help Ukraine, including militarily. This is the largest war in Europe since World War II, and it is being waged in our names. And you will not fucking escape this shame, no matter how much you want to bury your head in the sand and deny it. And if we’re talking about the interests of the Russian people, Russia’s military defeat is a necessary condition for a change of power in Russia. It is the Russian people’s only hope for a peaceful, democratic country - if that’s what they want.

I hope they simulate the non-stop technical problems of long-range FPV drones and their Rube Goldberg like setup.
Ukrainian-developed FPV drone simulator “Remote Reaper: FPV Drone” has officially left Early Access, with version 1.0 now available on Steam. Developed in collaboration with military pilots, the simulator focuses on combat FPV drone operations and introduces several features in its full release, including armored vehicles with modeled vulnerable zones, electronic warfare effects that can disrupt video feeds and control signals during the final stage of an attack, and a customizable drone editor. Version 1.0 also adds configurable weather conditions, custom mission editing, real-time flights with other pilots and a racing mode. Players can use FPV hardware or a gamepad with realistic flight physics, or opt for simplified controls using a keyboard and mouse. #RemoteReaper #FPV #FPVDrone #DroneSimulator

So... Do you see the boy on a scooter? That was a 16 year old son of my mother's nurse. Nothing left of him. That was this woman's only child. I don't think I have much else to say. Russians killed him and ripped this woman's heart out. Trump assists Russia in this.
Moments ago, Russian forces bombed a residential neighborhood in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, hitting a grocery store. Three people lost their lives, and nine others, including two children, sustained injuries.

Kneecapping your defense exports to protect Russian oil industry. Another banger from the smartest president in U.S. history.
SCOOP @FT: The Trump administration is threatening to stop the PURL procurement system that provides Ukraine with weapons in order to press Kyiv to halt its deep strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, according to officials in Europe. The officials, who received calls from American officials on Saturday and Sunday or were briefed on them, said the US was lobbying European capitals and Kyiv in an attempt to end the attacks on Russian oil refineries. The White House declined to confirm or comment on the calls. w/ @HenryJFoy @ahauslohner ft.com/content/68fd8c4f-6f34…
