Rackley-W.A.R. announces that tonight is the final race for their Truck Series team. Dawson Sutton will join Sammy Smith to complete Tricon's full-time lineup in 2027, driving the No. 5 and No. 15, respectively. The team will focus on its late model program.

IndyCar released it's 2027 schedule, and Nashville is gone in favor of going to Spain to race at Barcelona. Five ovals out of 17 races. Doug Boles says adding ovals is a "massive priority" for 2028. Really? Then why are they are talking about reviving Nashville's street race?

I learned from this pre-race show that the rattlesnakes on Rattlesnake Hill don't like the noise so they just leave for the weekend then come back when it's over. Rattlesnakes - more logical than people who live by Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
