CANADA CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO BE GOVERNED BY LUXURY BELIEFS

I wrote this piece knowing it may be controversial. It touches on housing (and yes, Ontario’s greenbelt), infrastructure, immigration, and even climate.
“The systems that once delivered rising prosperity no longer function in practice—they now produce delay, contradiction, and paralysis.
The reason is simple. We’ve spent a generation legislating luxury opinions—ideas that sound virtuous, cost nothing to say, and deny the trade-offs real progress requires.”
“This is how the governing class speaks now—pretending we can build a fairer country without disrupting an unfair one. They will say anything except the truth: that progress requires tough choices, and those choices will upset someone. And in Canada, not making those choices has become our national pastime—it has made every problem we have even harder to fix.”
Ah good, getting to refactor our implementation 2 days later because is in aisdk now
Generate images with OpenAI's latest gpt-image-1 model.

ALT // @ai-sdk/openai v1.3.18 - `gpt-image-1` support import { experimental_generateImage as generateImage } from "ai"; import { openai } from "@ai-sdk/openai"; const { image } = await generateImage({ model: openai.image("gpt-image-1"), prompt: "A salamander at sunrise in a forest pond in the Seychelles.", providerOptions: { openai: { quality: "high" }, }, });
Crazy that what took months to build with comfyui and diffusion models can be achieved 10x better with a text prompt and gpt-image-1 today
Feel like Im taking crazy pills on all these reactions to sonnet3.7
Every attempt is over-engineered, introduces bugs, and doesn't work. Then I restore my checkpoint, switch to trusty old 3.5, and it one-shots a solution
Let’s gooooo 🛫

Get acquired by Adobe, or live long enough to become the subject of Twitter think-pieces about designers skipping design and jumping straight into code
Fun thread.
Love ripping out features directly in Cursor, but unless it’s a basic shadcn table, you need some mocks for guidance. But that’s more a single key screen than a full design of every state and flow
What is best practice for giving @cursor_ai context on my database tables and schema?
Current just repetitively copy/paste table definitions/row examples. I could also create a Note with all this data stored, but that would be massive context to inject.
Anyone got tips?
