Introducing Chinook Linux: Ansible that sets up @ubuntu or @fedora Asahi Remix from scratch. Options, not omakase. I tried @OmarchyLinux. Cool. Not for me. Same with Omakub. I was hyped when @dhh shipped it, then I didn’t want to live in his opinions. I keep coming back to boring distros because they just work. So I made this.

Replying to @SpaceXSI
@SpaceXSI @cursor_ai the migration from a Cursor teams account to the new plans is a disaster. We're trying to love Cursor, but please don't make it so hard. Here's the detailed process I followed, and why it doesn't work. @mntruell @poteto

This was fixed! @X if I have X premium with another email is there a way to link them so I don't have to pay twice?

Ok I built my own orchestrator agent on top of @t3dotcodes nightly leveraging Orchestrator V2 and combining opus, sol, and grok with different skills depending on what each one is good at. I get it now and my mind is blown. 🤯

The only weird thing happening to me is that I get this error constantly with Fable as the orchestrator. Probably a skill issue, but if you know how to fix it @theo @maria_rcks please let me know.

Here are some reasons why visiting Japan 🇯🇵 is a life changing experience: 1) You don’t understand what respect is until you interact with Japanese people. How polite, punctual, kind, helpful, friendly they are. I am from a region in 🇨🇴 where we take pride of our service culture. We’re not even close. 2) That respect is not only towards people. It is also towards their surroundings, maintaining things clean, well kept, following social rules that make life easier for everyone else. One basic example: you see little to no graffiti there. 3) Also, related to #1: I’ve never felt safer in a place than in 🇯🇵 . There might be exceptions, I don’t doubt it, but it feels like you can go anywhere, anytime, and it is OK. 4) Life is everywhere in big cities. The city that never sleeps? Yes, that is probably Tokyo, no doubt. And being the most massive “city” on earth, you feel like night is a completely different trip than the day. Combined with the old school signs, the eating spots, etc it is a vibe like nowhere else. 5) You should get lost in 🇯🇵: and I mean it. Explore, go find some unbeaten path or take a train to a random small fishing town. Those “OG” places are quaint, cozy, perfectly organized. The landmarks are cool? Yes. But it is not why I recommend going there. 6) Some non-western hotel chains are AMAZING. Some of them like Koko or Monday have their hotels in residential areas, and you feel like you are living your life with them. So good. 7) On the not-so-bright side of things, in 🇯🇵 you can understand what a post-growth, post-development society looks like. For about 30 years this country barely grew. 8) (Not an expert here) I think that the combination between stagnant opportunities for a lot of men has created a wide gap between what traditional women expect from men, and what a lot of them can offer. I find these social dynamics fascinating. 9) The result is that if you go to a small town, you’ll probably not see children for hours or even days. Their population is shrinking, we all know that, but their fertility rate within married couples is one of the highest among developed nations. 10) The problem ends up being that not enough people find partners and marry. This, to me, should be a lesson on why we need constant growth in our society. 11) You can grasp the feeling of decadence if you go on a Monday morning to a place where there are big Pachinko places, before opening times. Lines and lines of young men going to spend their time, money and energy at a “not-a-casino”. 12) Enough with the bad stuff. Now my favorite thing about 🇯🇵: how they value craftsmanship. You’ll find restaurants that serve not only amazing Japanese food, but food from anywhere in the world is delicious. Probably the owner has been doing that job for 35 years. And you will see this with ceramics, woodworking, tea ceremonies, knifes, traditional clothing, etc. 13) Talking about craftsmanship, 🇯🇵 is probably the best place in the world to have a hobby. Chances are there is a massive following of whatever you like. From video games, to stationary stores, crafts, music, tech, cars, cooking, knitting, card collecting, anything. It is INSANE and I love it. 14) The seasonal products. 🇯🇵 has a big tradition of companies launching lots of products per year. This is mostly due to seasonality. I read once a book called Nagori, by Japanese author Ryoko Sekiguchi. She does a wonderful job of explaining how important every year’s changes are for their culture. Highly recommend it. 15) Hokkaido milk is no joke. Specially good for soft serve ice creams yum yum 😋. 16) The sounds of 🇯🇵: In this country EVERYTHING talks. The escalators, the stores, the cashier machines at 7-eleven, the trains, the vending machines. I don’t understand anything of what these cute voices say, but I am all for it. Some might find it annoying, though. But not me. 17) The Toyota Alphard Ubers are the most comfortable car in the world. #japan
