Dorothy, my 64 shasta is getting her second chance. After surviving a tornado and over 60 years of weather I think she deserves it!
Wow! It's @VibeCheckDnD on radio station 100.1 The Dungeon playing on a 1958 Grundig-Majestic Musikschrank!
Ariral theme, but on a 1947 Detrola 571a. #voicesofthevoid #Ariral
Sometimes the greatest things came from the simplest places. This wonderful coronado RA1-9243B isn't the top of the line but still a beautiful example of the working families entertainment. Just a radio and a 4-speed vinyl player in a cute little cabinet.
This is a new one, my first radio made overseas. This 1957 Körting Delmonico 1007 is a very interesting and beautiful bakelite radio. Interestingly, it uses an eye tube. An eye tube is a special vacuum tube used as an indicator, usually for radio signal strength.
Another radio in for some repairs, a 1960 Zenith G730. filter capacitor is completely shot so it will be removed and restuffed along with a normal recap.
Huh, I wonder who owned before 🤔

Professional Power! This boxed commodore 64 is an absolute dream for me to own. It will get a special made display shelf on my wall!
Happy Birthday @MonikaCinnyRoll! Another year and another adventure!
Art by the wonderful @SignalNines
Quick fixes brought to you by Workman Electronics! As old tvs wore out, their picture would become darker, but full repair was expensive! Especially since you could walk into a shop and buy one of these!
(Warning: Do not use these to fix your vintage tvs. It's not worth it.)
Best way to work on some old radios, Terror Time DnD on a 1946 Detrola 571a. Can you name a better way to "tune in" to your campaign @PinkOlliePop?
