My book stash on the various African socialisms. There's a bit on anti-colonial resistance (esp Mau Mau) and other tangential topics too. I haven't gone through every single text but it's interesting. Enjoy comrades:

Its nice to have evidence and this is one of the best historians of Africa on this site, but I'd think this is obvious. It's kinda impossible to have towns and cities, much less universities that lasted centuries, without wage labour.
Wage labour in pre-colonial Africa was not a creation of colonial capitalist economies, but a product of pre-existing economic and social institutions

Ghana and Uganda were ruled by local elites. When those local elites revolted, the British had no option but to leave.
Kenya was a settler colony like Algeria and Zimbabwe. Settlers were coming here to stay permanently. In fact, our independence war was short compared to others.

Countries like Ghana and Uganda got independence before us without an insurgency. Britain was broke. Simple.
I've compiled a comprehensive map of Israel's air defence, radar, and military intelligence infrastructure.

Wengi walikua wanadai land tu. Kulikua na famine juu ya overpopulation kwa reserve. Brits wangepeana some plots uko highlands, mambo ingetulia. But settlers walisema ata afadhali wadeclare independence (kama Rhodesia) so ikabidi Mau Mau wapiganie independence tu

This is true, but a frustrating number of people think this means France wouldn't be wealthy at all without Africa. It would still be in the top 10% of richest countries with or without imperialism.
If it wasn't for Africa, France wouldn't be as wealthy as it is today. For centuries, France exploited Africa, stole its resources, took advantage of its people, and used its colonies to build its own wealth. Even after independence, France continued to benefit from its former colonies. Africa paid a heavy price for France's prosperity.

I've read that South Korea's plan in case of a war is to send a large crew of their super-elite special forces by boat straight to Pyongyang, where they will make their way to the enemy HQ and kill all the leaders. Given that the South has seven BRIGADES of just their Green Berets alone, this seems eminently possible.
I also read that they are not making this plan secret, because they want Kim Jong Un to know He Will Die in case of a war.

DeKUT Establishes Semiconductor Collaboration with LAAS CNRS, France
The Vice Chancellor of DeKUT, Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri, EBS led a delegation of DeKUT Staff to a collaboration visit to LAAS CNRS, for collaboration on training, research and innovation in Semiconductor and Micro-electronics Engineering
Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) is a major public research laboratory based in Toulouse, France, and is part of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique - CNRS) network. LAAS has a class 10 clean room that can support the entire flow of the 14nm MOS process up to packaging.
The collaboration with DeKUT will be coordinated by the DeKUT Center for Integrated Circuits Engineering, which trains in Microchip design and fabrication.

Mélenchon realizing he’s the compromise as he watches under 35s go to war with the French state is a bit hilarious
Like he’s in the street & you can see it in his eyes, realizing this is a revolutionary moment that can change history forever, & even *he* didn’t expect this.

But why did our folks used to carry Ribena and Lucozade when visiting a sick person and made us believe those were ideal drinks to carry whenever you’re visiting someone in hospital? Just spiking their insulin for no reason💀
If a MiG magically got shot down and the Germans recovered it, they would immediately form a cargo cult dedicated to Angola after seeing the alloys used & the onboard computers.
