Thursday night racing is canceled for tonight, 5/9 due to weather. The Opening Night program will be repeated next week.
Realizing I’m too old and my mind is playing tricks on me. I could have sworn I just heard the phrase “Iran-Contra” on Good Morning America. I looked up and it was just about Stormy Daniels. This isn’t some kind of deep political statement- I actually think I can’t hear.
1. Of course they did. 2. Still wouldn’t have happened with hooked rims. 3. Still true that road hookless ONLY benefits the manufacturer in reducing cost. Protect yourself. *will we eventually “get there” on this tech? Probably after being dragged there against our will.

I find this and other complaints like it tend to crop up towards the end of someone’s career. This applies to all professions as well.

11 years ago we had a frozen rutted nationals in WI. Duke had a shifter/cable freeze and swapped by Jose in mere seconds. Also @timjohnsoncx photo thrown in for good measure. #cyclocross
It’s dawned on me that cross will have to widen tire regs otherwise with current trends we will hit a point where road and cross will share the same tire width.
