This is becoming extremely frustrating. I could understand it if I were starting a new task, but having this happen to tasks that are already running, particularly time-sensitive ones, is unacceptable.

We've rolled out optimizations to how we store state on disk for the chatgpt & codex desktop app that should reduce the amount stored on disk by 60%. Small ship but we've heard enough feedback about power users running out of disk space.

We have increased default context length for GPT-6.1 Sol to 500k when used through Codex & Work, up from 272k or an ~ 80% increase.
We will go higher in the future, but it helps reduce occurrence of compactions and with tasks that require keeping a lot of context and nuance over periods of time. It was carefully tested and is the new sweet spot for most of our users. You can still override it if you want to be higher our lower, with maximum context length of GPT-6.1 Sol of 1M.

What began as an impromptu performance outside a restaurant in Spain ended up becoming one of the biggest viral sensations of the moment. Dominican street artist Bulin 47 ran into content creator and freestyler Kevin Wai, agreed to play along for a few seconds, and the result went viral on social media.
Kevin approached the singer with a speaker while a dembow beat played and began freestyling. Bulin, who was about to enter the restaurant, stopped, responded with his own rhymes, and accompanied the freestyle with a unique dance move that ended up being just as crucial to the video’s virality as the song itself.
The clip began to spread rapidly on TikTok and Instagram. Initial reports estimated its reach at over 50 million views across various platforms, while other media outlets indicated that the original post surpassed 65 million views on Instagram.
