The truth is I think we can control our sneezes and I look down on people who gender theirs. That walrus bark or the twinkle of fairy on a mushroom. Knock it off
Learning a new DAW is like moving house in that your fate is entirely sealed by the first week. You think "I'll figure that out later" & you mean "time will turn my grandchildren to dust before I attend to that again"

I always thought if you were charged with a crime in the USA, you could plead 3 ways:
(1) GUILTY
(2) NOT GUILTY or
(3) say nothing aka NO CONTEST (basically same as guilty)
Turns out, there’s a 4th option. A weird paradoxical & surprisingly common one you prob never heard of. 🧵

It is in fact not a profound moral achievement to say something slightly less wrong than the person before you & it’s a shame that the think economy treats this as the most exciting glamorous thing you could possibly do
Here's what you're gonna do when you have to pass up really exciting opportunities. You're gonna buy (a) a thing of Van Leeuwen ice cream (honeycomb) and (b) a bag of microwave popcorn. Put bits of (b) in (a). Repeat
