Konstantin Kudrin, Head of Fintech R&D, represented DSR at the first FinTech Meetup Europe, held last week in Lisbon. For him, an engineer at heart, it was a chance to look at familiar technical problems from the business side. The event brought together 2,500+ attendees, 70% of them C-level executives, for discussions on the challenges shaping financial services. 💡 Konstantin's takeaways included the importance of adapting products to local markets, earning trust by fitting into people's everyday lives instead of trying to change them, and defining a clear business case for new payment solutions. “It was also great to see new solutions and approaches in identity verification, and advanced anti-fraud mechanisms. It is fascinating to watch the cat-and-mouse game between fraudsters using AI and the AI built to catch them,” Konstantin shared. All of this is directly related to what DSR does.
