The Heritage American debate isn’t just about severing your connection to the American past.
The more sinister idea is that what you do today carries no inheritance forward.
Serve your country. Build something. Sacrifice. Endure. Die for it.
Then be told your descendants have no special claim to your story, no right to take pride in your sacrifice, no deeper connection because of what you gave.
Once you convince a people that inheritance, lineage, and posterity mean nothing, you’ve weakened one of the oldest reasons men sacrifice for a future they’ll never live to see.
That is fertile ground for any system that wants loyalty transferred from family and inheritance to the state.

The biggest mistake many conservatives make is believing that Democrats or the Left are merely stupid and don’t understand economics. Because they for some reason fail to see or grasp the malice and greed that is really at work.
For example: “Ha! By raising taxes the Dem cities are just going to cause the rich in those cities to leave! Morons!” The more cerebral ones will give some talk about the “unintended consequences” of “suicidal empathy.”
What they don’t see is this: by driving the wealthy out who aren’t a part of their network, they are taking over the cities completely and eliminating their rivals.
Across the nation, big cities are experiencing the exodus of long time wealthy, well-connected families with deep history in the community. Each of these families is losing their history, their networks, their influence. And for the thugs running our cities, it is the loss of potential rivals.
The naive conservative thinks he’s seeing foolishness, incompetence, “unintended consequences.” He hasn’t yet figured out that what he’s witnessing is conquest and plunder and sending rivals into exile.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey IS the Trojan Horse. Let me explain…
The Trojan Horse is a deception, meant to be invited in as an innocent gift & piece of art, yet it contains the elements used to destroy its receiver.
The Odyssey is portrayed as simply an adaptation of an ancient, epic poem, yet it contains subversive elements that can lead to further destruction within film/society.
Odysseus is completely deconstructed. He is no longer a witty, cunning, & wise, and powerful leader. He’s as Emily Wilson calls him in her recent liberal, feminist translation of The Odyssey, “a complicated man” - a deconstruction of the hero portrayed in the source material, prior to Wilson’s rewrite.
Women are seen as victims, never the villains. They’re powerful, as if Nolan is purposely trying to shame/take down the patriarchy…
- Clytemnestra is a victim who simply takes vengeance against Agamemnon. They try to justify her affair and the murder of her husband instead of showcasing her lack of loyalty destroying the juxtaposition between her and Penelope who remains loyal to Odysseus for DECADES.
- Helen of Troy is the victim of an abusive marriage with Menelaus, which leaves her scared.
- The witch Circe paints all men as “pigs” at their core.
- Penelope talks about taking the throne, while calling her son weak and unworthy.
*None of these depictions are faithful to the source material that has been passed down for millennia.
This movie is loved by many, yet it includes many liberal ideologies those people fight against.
The diverse casting is an overt distraction, and political message. Nolan has duped hundreds of thousands of movie goers into believing these casting don’t matter in the grand scheme. It’s a slippery slope to welcome in more trans actors/actresses and race-swaps in future films.
This movie is accepted by many who have fought against the Trojan horses in our society that have ruined homes, schools, churches, relationships, and business. People are lost in a 3+ hour lotus flower of a movie that is objectively a desecration of western society’s quintessential story of the hero’s journey.
Subversion of the source material is what has ruined so many IPs, franchises, and adaptations over the last decade, especially.
The acceptance and embrace of this film will only lead to more subversive works. Nolan has duped society into believing poems like Homer’s The Odyssey can be downplayed as “just a fantasy”, which downplays the poem as “up for interpretation” to its core, so it can be destroyed with the insertion of modern political ideologies.
That line of thinking presents the source material, the intended core motivation of its characters, and the message ingrained in the story that has made it last for thousands of years, not as something to be faithful to, but something to be molded into our own modern image. Nolan is now elevated above Homer, unlike Peter Jackson, whose motivation was to honor Tolkien in his adaptation of The Lord of the Rings.
This movie is the 1619 Project of Homer’s work. It’s presenting a different story, and redesigned characters, in order to redefine what made The Odyssey so compelling & long-lasting in the first place.
It’s now a story about “welcoming the stranger.” An allegory seemingly for immigration and sanctuary cities 🤦🏼♂️
As this film is paraded into the walls of the Dolby Theater in Hollywood for the Academy awards, Elliot Page will be treated like a hero, maybe even nominated for an award, and it will be used as a weapon to further destroy foundational works of art, just like Amazon has done to Lord of the Rings, Disney has done to Star Wars and Snow White, HBO to Harry Potter, etc.
The acceptance of this film is what will lead to further adaptations that empower directors, writers and studios into subversive retellings and propaganda-filled revisionist histories that work to upend foundational aspects of western culture.
If that happens, we can only blame ourselves…

In the short term, Flock cameras will be used to generate traffic-citation revenue.
In the medium term, politicians will use the Flock cameras to enforce a per-mile tax on old cars without GPS trackers.
After we get used to that, politicians will use Flock to enforce travel mileage permits.
"Honey, I want to visit my mom. Please apply for another 500 miles on our travel allowance."
In the long term, Flock cameras will be expanded beyond license plates to track individuals. Politicians will use the cameras to identify anti-government protestors who turn off their phones, by tracing them back to their homes.
License plate tracking is just the beginning. Politicians always promise to stick in just the tip.

“Values” do not create a people by themselves. They are almost always the cultural expression of a group people that already exists and sees itself as a pre-political “we” because they share a historical continuity.
If membership in the polis can be reduced to merely sharing some abstract set of values, then anyone anywhere who can recite the creed counts as fully interchangeable.
But then how does the polis survive periods of intense disagreement? The very institutions that grant legitimacy to the idea that group membership can be reduced to mere propositions inevitably fail to hold the nation together once the propositions themselves become politically contested.
Normally, a people can survive intense debate and disagreement because there’s a shared recognition that, for all the intensity of the moment, there’s still a shared destiny that we’re all partaking in on the other side of it all.
You may think the other side are idiots, but they’re YOUR idiots. But if you’ve already declared that the only thing that holds the people together are the propositions themselves, then every disagreement by necessity becomes an existential struggle. If you lose, you essentially become stateless because you’ve defined the state entirely around an extended set of values rather than an extended set of kin.

The results of this purge, or aggressive supervision, have been excellent. Across the board, immigration judges are denying asylum claims at unprecedented levels and ordering aliens deported at rates previously unheard of.

Here's why there will be no Iran deal.
Iran is a rational actor.
A rational state does not use nuclear weapons offensively against a nuclear-armed adversary. MAD holds.
The strategic value of an Iranian nuke is that it makes Iran riskier to attack.
The nuclear issue is a red herring. The US and Israel don't fear an Iranian bomb. They fear an Iran that can't be easily attacked.
Iran's conventional deterrent already achieves much of this. The strait, ballistic missiles, and drones impose unacceptable costs.
Any deal the US and Israel would accept requires Iran to surrender these.
Surrendering them means surrendering the ability to survive.
No rational actor surrenders the ability to survive.
Therefore there will be war.
*If the Iranians are the lunatics their adversaries need them to be, the argument collapses.

The first thing a prisoner loses is privacy.
The first thing a free person demands is privacy.
Prisons are designed around the removal of privacy. Open cells. Monitored showers. Recorded phone calls. Supervised visits.
Every moment visible to guards.
Strip someone's privacy and you strip their autonomy. They can't plan. Can't organize. Can't have an unobserved thought that leads to an unmonitored action.
That's not a side effect of incarceration.
That's the point.
Now look at your digital life.
Every transaction recorded. Every message scannable. Every location tracked. Every search indexed. Every connection mapped. Every pattern analyzed.
You live in an open cell.
The key difference between you and a prisoner is the level of awareness. Prisoners know they're being watched.
Freedom isn't the absence of walls. It's the presence of doors you can close. Rooms you control. Spaces where you exist unobserved, unrecorded, unmeasured.
Privacy isn't what guilty people want. It's what free people have.
The distinction tells you everything about which side of the door you're standing on.
