AN APPEAL TO Pastor Landon Schott re: Michael Brown @landonschott had his church give a standing ovation to Michael Brown this past weekend at an Apologetics Conference.... I have a sincere question to Landon. What was the standing ovation for? Is that due to Michael Brown's phone sex conversations he had with "Kim" back in the early 2000's that he covered up? Is that due to Michael Brown's abuse of Sarah Monk as a student in his school? Kissing her, slapping her butt, having her sit on his lap, and taking her on car rides to Wal Mart at 2am? What is the standing ovation for Landon? Is it because of his apologetics? I dare say, the man's apologetics will have little to no value in eternity without true repentance and apology to those he effected. Your twisting of this scenario to prop up a man who has credible allegations verified by multiple eye witnesses and who has been called to account by respected church leaders is concerning and shows a lack of discernment on your part. Are you aware that there will be those who can defend the faith while also living a double life? Did they not cast out demons in His name and heal the sick in His Name? But these same men were completely unaware that those "ministry activities" had little to do with what actual FRUIT is before the judgment seat. What's happening to Brown right now is not "the accuser of the brethren" - in fact leaders accusing Sarah Monk and Ray and Kim of lying is more in line with the "spirit of accusation" title that so many charismatic leaders are throwing out there these days. I'm wondering if you are even aware of the validity of the allegations at hand or if you are so star struck with Brown that you can't even listen to real people with real stories of being victimized by him? The idolatry is stunning. But as much as you will likely not read this or think I'm just an accuser- I'm genuinely appealing to you as a "leader" of your church. LOOK INTO THESE THINGS. Last question: would you be good with Brown hanging out with your wife and daughters after knowing what he's done with another man's wife and another man's daughter while he was a married man?
