A one-minute truth bomb this morning from Gen. Jack Keane, just back from Israel: the 20-point Gaza plan has no chance of working.
Hamas is regenerating. Five to seven thousand new recruits, already through training. Still fighting from a tunnel network Keane walked himself — cement floors, walls, plumbing, electricity, about 400 miles of it. Israel has killed a lot of commanders and is systematically blowing those tunnels. It has not eliminated the terror organization.
An Israeli brigade commander who has been in Gaza since October 7, and who has lost three company commanders in the fight, told Keane that Hamas "has not changed one bit. Their identity is destruction of the state of Israel. That is what they're about. They are not going to disarm, despite all the initiatives to help them do that. They're going to stay in the fight."
This may not be the news most people were hoping to hear the day after the 3rd anniversary of the October 7 attack. But if we are not clear-eyed about Hamas and what they still want — the eradication of Jews and Israel — we are locking in a false pause before the next inevitable round of fighting.

I spent the past month running the same legal test — the Genocide Convention, the case law, the rigorous intent standard — against October 7 itself. The case turns out to be stronger than most people, on either side, expect.
I have set forth, in detail, a falsifiable standard — the same one I used in Genocide for Dummies, where I showed why Israel's conduct in Gaza does not meet the international legal standard for genocide. Show me the evidence that meets my test, and I will write the correction myself.

This post is historically factually correct. It is historically legally correct. And the video attached is the most important video you will ever watch that settles the arguments and destroys the propaganda aimed at Israel for over 78 years.
All the accusations thrown at Israel fit Jordan. Not one of them fits Israel.
In 1922 Britain cut about 77 percent of the Mandate off the Jewish national home, closed it to Jews, and handed it to a prince from the Hejaz.
Abdullah was not from there. His brother had just been thrown out of Damascus, so London gave him a throne. The League signed the paperwork. That is a country manufactured in an office, ruled by a foreign dynasty, built on land taken out of the instrument that was written for the Jews.
Colonial borders. An imported ruler. A state invented to solve a British problem. Stolen land. Every line of that speech is about Jordan. And a century later it is still aimed at the people the Mandate was actually for.
Israel did not steal a country. Britain amputated one, the Arab states invaded what was left, and the world has spent the years since pretending the first cut never happened.
Britain knows it. The maps know it. The documents know it. The accusations are about the kingdom London built, not the state it tried to cripple.

Worse than Hamas propaganda. I have now seen the documentary NAZA in its entirety, and it is worse than I imagined. Over three years, I’ve tried not to be surprised by ignorance, disinformation, and distortions relating to war, but this is at the top for many reasons.
I will write a detailed analysis soon, but one of the worst, a massive claim displayed in the middle of the film, in bright yellow against a black screen: “Israel has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians in Gaza.”
Not even Hamas says this. Meaning not even Hamas claims Israel has killed every Palestinian that has died in Gaza since October 7th. Hamas has publicly killed Palestinians to maintain power in the Gaza. There have been battles between Hamas and anti-Hamas clans. Up to 20% of the 12,000 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad rockets fired at Israel fell inside Gaza. Recent Hamas reporting shows natural deaths on their list. To say every person that died in Gaza was killed by Israel is a vulgar lie.
There are a lot of other lies, lies by omission, and lies of ignorance in NAZA, but this claim is unique and follows the lies, damned lies, and statistics for accusations that go against the actual number put out by Hamas or reality.

When I was nineteen my father and I took my rabbi, Rabbi Sinai Adler, to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, because the rabbi was a survivor and he refused to believe that the American government kept a permanent exhibition in which it admitted it could have interrupted the machinery of Auschwitz and chose not to. He needed to see the admission with his own eyes. The gallery held a War Department letter explaining the decision against bombing the rail lines and a reconnaissance photograph of the camp taken from an American bomber. That photograph was made seventeen days after Rabbi Adler had been brought through the gate.

About 70,000 people were killed in the war in Gaza, mostly military-age male combatants. Zohran Mamdani called Netanyahu a “war criminal” and “architect of genocide”, and demanded that he be arrested upon arrival in New York.
The Islamic regime murdered 100,000 Iranians, including 50,000 children, for protesting for freedom. When Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in New York, Mamdani did not say a single word.

The French PM stood in front of cameras and denied Hamas' terrorism in Judea and Samaria, a day after his own citizen was murdered by a Hamas terrorist there.

An Arab commentator sat on Lebanese television and said the sentence the Western street still treats as unspeakable. Stop trafficking in the blood of Gaza.
Islamic Jihad started the fight, not Israel. Hamas and Islamic Jihad were already in Cairo talking about a ceasefire when one of them decided to shoot two Israelis and drag the Strip into another round it did not have to fight.
He went further than most of his colleagues will ever go on camera. Israel left Gaza in 2005. What filled the vacuum was not a state. It was the Muslim Brotherhood project wearing Hamas’s face and the Iranian project wearing Islamic Jihad’s, and together they turned Gaza into a Palestinian civil war. Sinwar’s real target, he said, was Ramallah, not Jerusalem. The 2007 coup was not resistance. It was a choice.
Instead of two states they built three: a Brotherhood enclave in Gaza, an Abbas fief in the West Bank, and Israel still standing where it always stood.
That is why clips like this matter. It is not a Jewish analyst making the argument. It is an Arab voice naming the authors of the prison and refusing to hand Israel the bill. The people who wrecked every opening for a normal life are the same people now selling the wreckage as occupation.

פתאום נער שלף אקדח מהחגורה של אבא שלו וכיוון אליי מטווח אפס! היו כמה שניות של שוק, אחי הגיב והתקרב, ואז האבא תפס את האקדח לקח מהבן והחזיר לחגורה.
תוך כדי הם מזעיקים שבאב ועל הרכב הראשון שמגיע לאירוע הם מבריחים את האקדח מהזירה.
