The Science Centre’s roof has survived heavy winter snow storms and now a violent rain and hail storm. This roof continues to have more integrity than the Ford government.
A team of us are working on ways to reopen this architectural masterpiece to the public again.

The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

Reminds me of the time I had a job interview as a nascent fledgling mobile UI designer. Interviewer asked me if I used the Teehan & Lax GUI kits.
I said some misguided version of "I prefer to hand-craft artisanal bespoke UIs" & they said "WHY WOULD I PAY YOU TO DO THAT?!"

I could easily fill an hr talking about how Apple Keynote is superior to PowerPoint. But one of the most dramatic ways for me is how they handle "Undo".
Keynote is INCREDIBLY forgiving. The freedom to experiment & make mistakes is critical to my achieving a creative flow-state.

The REAL WORLD is compressed.
This is one of MANY ways I've observed the Digital & Physical realities converging into a single, seamless existence.
The WORLD as we experience it, is increasingly populated with video-game sprite-esque, exact replica objects. It's a clone stamped, uncanny valley-ass world.
